라 카피타나 올드 산 후안(La Capitana Old San Juan)

Worst place ever. Dirty, filthy, with stained towels, cockroaches and unusable windows. The management was rude and unresponsive. Check in is another building. The whole place is so old and neglected yuk! Read the reviews and better stay away!

This is not a hotel. We stayed for four nights and we requested bath towels and a soap through text. Text didn’t do anything so we had to go get towels. Location and the view from balcony were great. We killed 2 cockroaches in the bathroom.

The only thing I paid for a late check out and was told it’s till 2pm for 50$ On my last day I called to confirm that I’m leaving at 2 they said no it’s 50 for every hour after 11… that’s the only thing I was upset about.. but either that it’s super nice

From booking, checking in, arrival, and departure, everything was made so easy! The room and view was better than I expected! The Cozy Apar**ent itself was spacious, cozy, and clean. And the view left me speechless. I found myself relaxing on the balcony in between my adventures. I will 100% book and stay here again.

The feel of true Old San Juan was in this hotel, waking up with an ocean view behind the old doors lies a true sight, slight breeze mixed with good AC, great space gave this a truly amazing experience for any couple or traveler looking to get away - fyi hot water works in shower please turn red knob at bottom of shower fixture - checking in hotel was easy at sister hotel La Terraza staff was very friendly

It’s all about the location and the views. They are indeed amazing. That’s the main positive. The access is challenging as the unit is located on a third floor with no elevator. The unit is old and it shows. Furniture, bathroom and kitchen show their age and look cheap and very used. There are cracks on the balcony structure that can make some people nervous. But the views are breathtaking…

We couldn't stay because a/c was not working at all. Property did not look fresh or even recently inhabited.Could be great hotel and will be if they renovate it.Don't book now.

The ocean view from our room was amazing. We stayed in a balcony room. The room itself is old and not fancy, but it's supposed to be old and not fancy. The service was excellent as well. The room is up two flights of stairs. If you don't want to haul your luggage upstairs, this room is not for you. But if you do, it's worth it.

This apar**ent has one great asset, the view. Otherwise it is not in good condition. The bathroom is about 5 by 5, with no place to even hang up a towel. It could be nice but needs as lot of TLC. You also have to pickup and return the key 2 blocks away, which can be a hassle in the traffic. And by the way, you have to carry your luggage up 2 narrow flights of stairs.
