Beautiful location but a hard drive

環境優美，鳥語花香，服務熱情周到，餐飲美味，但地處山谷，交通不方便，房間沒有WiFi，需要到餐廳才有網絡，

The hotel staff went above and beyond to help us with a great difficulty we were experiencing with DHL to receive a parcel. Christina was incredibly helpful demonstrating genuine care and professionalism. We are very grateful to Christina for her extreme kindness. Malon at the restaurant was excellent with his efficiency. He has patiently dealt with our request for the duration of our stay. Their dedication to guest satisfaction truly elevated our experience, and we are left with deep appreciation for their hospitality and commitment. The hotel is an absolute gem and if you like Costa Rican nature and joys of birding, we can't recommend it enough.

We returned with friends after visiting Suria Hotel two years ago and vowing we would go back. We were less impressed this time. The gardens were beautiful, but the area where the little hummingbirds were are now closed off and the hotel now charges an extra 10 dollars per person per stay to enter, which was a real shame. We visited another garden close by and we thrilled by what we saw there. Rooms were clean and comfortable but unfortunately there was no WiFi in our rooms, only in the main building area. It’s very cold at night and there are little electric potable heaters in the rooms. The breakfast was well prepared but quite economical- a choice of three items, traditional Costa Rican (with rice and beans) or “Continental” ( a piece of very well cooked bacon, two eggs, a small piece of toast, a spoonful of jam and three slices each of watermelon,papaya and pineapple) or pancakes (two American style pancakes with a spoonful of watery syrup, afew slices of banana and a strawberry) The pancakes were very dry to eat. There was no other items such as juice, toast, cereal, pastries or fruit juice. As we checked out after our stay, we were not warned about the only road being closed for two hours just after we left, which meant a two hour hold up for us in the hot sun.

Very basic room. No TV, the heat was,a small electric space heater and middle of March it was 4°Celuis in the morning. One glass for 2 people, Nothing to do there. No trails, no pool, nothing. They have a bird garden but it is $10US/ person to get in. If you are not part of a tour group you are basically ignore, dinner is at a coffee table between to sofas. You are at the end of a deadend road. Everything is downhill from it. Makes walking a challenge.

Terrible customer experience I booked and prepaid my stay through **********. Upon arrival at Hotel de Montaña Suria, I was told they had not received the payment and that I had to pay again at check-in in order to receive the room keys. I arrived late at night after a car crash, exhausted and just needing rest, so I paid again on the spot. The next morning, I checked my credit card and confirmed that both ********** and Hotel de Montaña Suria charged me for the same room — a clear double charge. When I raised the issue, Ariel, the front desk manager, told me I had to request the reimbursement directly from the online platform. However, ********** requires an invoice from the hotel as proof of the second payment. Until today, I have not received any invoice from the hotel, making it impossible to process the refund. In over 13 years of using **********, this is the first time I’ve ever had a problem like this. While the property itself is very nice, the lack of coordination, accountability, and post-stay support resulted in a terrible customer experience. I strongly recommend considering other lodging options to avoid similar issues or not using ********** for booking.

We stayed here as part of a Saga / Titan Wild Costa Rica tour. The gardens are beautiful, and you can see lots of bird life. The cabins (glorified sheds) have outside seating which is nice to sit and watch the bird life. As part of our tour both dinner and breakfast were included. Both meals were very good, plentiful and hot. Staff in the restaurant and serving drinks were pleasant and polite. The rooms are basic and horrible. Our room was not clean with a spiders nest around the wall light fitting and cobwebs between the shed walls. Lots of other bugs in the room . It was very cold, we had to have the heater on all night in spite of there being lots of bedding. Too cold to shower the next morning. Couldn't wait to leave. This was the worst accommodation we had on the tour, although many of the others were not good either. It is a ridiculously long drive down the valley to get to the place. Can't understand why Saga / Titan even bother booking people in here.

It was a great place and would recommend it for anyone who is looking a place to relax and reconnect with nature

Staff is very friendly and the place is beautiful and quiet.
