The rooms are very quaint and cozy. It's a nice stay and conveniently located. There's valet parking at the hotel, or even one half a block away. The manager is very attentive and kind. We had a snafu when we first checked in, but the manager went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The beds are soft (which I like) and the pillows are like little clouds. Wifi is also very good. I would definitely recommend and plan to stay again in the future.

Would recommend The Marker to anyone. Reasonable pricing for great hotel. Doesn’t have the doorman concierge service of some hotels and is a great location near Union Square. Tratto is also a great little bar and Italian restaurant. Will be back!

We did not stay here ans are waiting in a refund, the area is overrun by homeless, tents all around the property. Definitely not safe, essentially if you have to street park to avoid the $75 a night parking fee to valet. The other parking garage available was also surrounded by tents and homeless.

My 'VIP' hotel stay was a letdown, starting with check-in. Promised an upgrade, I received my already-booked king bed room. A complimentary bottle of wine was the only plus. Room issues included no microwaves and unconnected bedside outlets. A serious breach of security happened when a staff member gave my visitor unauthorized access to my room, a shocking first in my travels. Checkout was a fiasco. Cleaning staff disturbed us before checkout time, and lost and found service was inefficient and rude, failing to help with a misplaced item. Hidden fees, revealed only at checkout on *******, inflated the final bill. This lack of transparency and poor service did not justify the high cost. I wonder if booking through America Express Platinum would have altered my experience...

Comfortable beds! Central location to good restaurants and entertainment. Valet parking was wonderful and easy. Beautiful hotel with a fabulous marble staircase and fireplace in the lobby.

Beautiful hotel! Gorgeous inside, especially with all the Christmas decor. Rooms are very clean, comfortable, quiet and stylish. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Great restaurant! Delicious breakfast and great happy hour . Will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful, boutique hotel with lovely, warm, friendly, informative staff. (Nessa is such an asset to the hotel). Convenient to all transport links .

Great hotel. Comfortable, clean rooms. Modern and updated. Great restaurant in the hotel as well with very good food and free morning coffee. Wifi was fast and kept up with evening work demands. My only negative was that the hot water in the shower could have been better. Little closer to luke warm than hot. That's the only note keeping this from a perfect rating.

My family stayed here for a trip to celebrate my husband's birthday. We brought our two little ones, 3 yo and 9 month old and the hotel staff were extremely accommodating. We stayed in a suite, which had a separate living area with a pull out couch, and room for the pack and play/crib which the hotel provided and set up. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming and service was great. The hotel is boutique, it is charming and recently redone with updated furnishings and decor. I will definitely come back!
