Tumuñan Lodge

We enjoyed a short break at the Lodge. We stayed in a cabin but dinner in the Lodge every evening. Home made wholesome food and a great selection of local wines, including some of the house vintages. A fishing trip on the river was organised and some lively walks in the mountains. We had a good time and enjoyed the sensation of being up in a remote mountain Lodge. Sadly a bit too cold to take a dip in the large pool.

Approximately a 2 hour trip from the Santiago airport and you arrive at this mountain oasis of calm. A small lodge where your needs are attended to in a professional and kindly manner by the Lodge owner himself. Great food cooked in-house daily with fresh local ingredients and served in the main lodge. Breakfast lunch and dinner available every day of your stay. The lodge has its own vineyard and serves their own wine and also other local offerings. Their recommendations on pairing wines with meals was very helpful as well. Nice easy private walking trails through the vineyards are available as is a large fresh water pool for your enjoyment. Will arranged a fly fishing trip with a marvelous guide named Boris who was very knowledgable and a great instructor and guide. He also arranged a horseback tour of the local mountains which we loved. If a private retreat from reality in a spectacular setting is what you are looking for I highly recommend that you contact Will and make the start of your dream trip to Chile at Tumunan Lodge. Excelente! Cabañas bien equipadas, comida muy rica y vinos de excelente calidad, todo ello en un precioso entorno que se puede recorrer, incluyendo viña, bosque y río además de una espectacular vista. Recomiendo la degustación de vinos realizada por William. Ideal para desconect****.

Wunderschöne Landschaft! Wir waren im Chalet bei Will und haben auch dort gegessen und seinen Wein gekostet. Alles super, sehr zu empfehlen! Unsere Kinder haben viel mit Luna und Oso gespielt. In der Umgebung gibt es viel zum Wandern und besuchen. Danke!

El lugar es maravilloso, paisajes, montañas, rio, tranquilidad ideal para quien le gusta el senderismo y escap**** de la cuidad. William muy amable y el desayuno muy bueno. La cabaña esta muy bien equipada.

Excelente atención de su dueño. Lugar tranquilo y alejado del ruido de la ciudad. Cabaña acogedora, muy limpia, no nos faltó nada. William es productor de su propio vino, que además ofrece como degustación. Excelente experiencia. Totalmente recomendado.

Es un acogedor lugar. La cabaña cumple con lo prometido y el entorno es súper lindo. Está cerca de senderos de trekking poco conocidos y que tienen un gran paisaje. La tinaja relajante y la atención es súper buena. Muy recomendable!!
