I stayed at the Park Hotel Casimiro with my wife for a week during the summer. What a fantastic experience! The hotel was excellent, with great facilities and outstanding food. The evening meals were a real highlight, with a wide range of lovely meals to choose from. We had the same table reserved every night too, so no need to rush down early, and it had a beautiful view of the lake. Breakfast was also very good and a great start to the day. The bar is located right by the lake edge, ideal to sit with a Spritz and enjoy the view. The room was very nice - clean, and comfortable with everything we needed. The aircon was perfect. Even on the hottest days it was lovely and cool - a little oasis to return to after a day on the lake. The cleaning staff were fantastic too and kept it immaculate. The lake itself is served by ferries, accessible with just a few minutes walk to Porto Portese. Every day we explored somewhere new - Salo, Gardone, Garda, Bardolino, Sirmione and more. For those reviews that complained about the lack of things to do nearby, I suggest doing your research next time. Either take a car, use the ferries as we did, or stay somewhere like Garda where there is much that is accessible on foot. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help - a big thank you to them all for making our stay so enjoyable.

Reading previous review I am wondering if we have been staying at the same hotel. 5 star to cleaning staff. 5 staff dining room servers. We arrived and our Superior room was disappointing. I took the photo of the room we had booked and a man who was very condescending told me that furniture that was In the photograph was not mentioned in description and therefore didn’t have to be in. I explained we had no where to sit. He said he would sort it. The next day whilst we were on the balcony someone came in and delivered a single office chair. See photo. They never even spoke. We couldn’t get tv to work. Someone came and got it on. At 10.30pm we couldn’t get it off. Receptionist and Security guard came and eventually managed to disconnect electricity. The fridge wasn’t working correctly and the Receptionist noted that the chocolate had melted. She advised us she was taking notes for the Manager. We were not contacted again. 2 days later and a repeat performance with the tv and back to reception again. Never did anyone apologise for inconvenience and the fact I had to get dressed to come down to Reception. The hot food was always cold and although some dishes were well presented others were inedible. Would we return to Lake Garda YES would we return to the 4 star Park hotel NO.

Lovely hotel with amazing lake view. All staff are amazing and friendly. Nothing is any trouble. We had a superior room which was lovely. Cleaned daily with fridge and sofa. Portese is small but only a 45 min walk to Salo Centre. Good central base with boat links from Portese to the whole of Lake Garda. Food was very nice with plenty of choice. Nice that they keep your bottle of wine and leave it chilled by your table for the next evening…..Would definitely stay again.

We have just returned from the most amazing holiday at Park Hotel Casimiro. The views are stunning, the facilities luxurious and the staff all welcoming and friendly. Everywhere was so clean and comfortable! The food was fresh, delicious, and plentiful. It was honestly the best holiday we have ever had. The location of the hotel is spot on! It felt peaceful and safe, but with it being located overlooking the lake right next to the port, it also provided a fantastic atmosphere. It was also so easy to get out and explore the lake. Thank you so much to all the staff for making it such a lovely stay. It was a special occasion for us, as we were celebrating my husband's 40th birthday but also treating the stay as the honeymoon we never had - after 14 years of marriage! The staff made it so special for us, and the welcome bottle of prosecco was a lovely touch. We will definitely be back, hopefully sooner rather than later!

This is a very good hotel. It is smart, clean and the service is generally excellent. My wife and I stayed for 17 nights in late September/early October. We had an excellent room with a full lake view (Rm 1203). The towels were changed without fail every day and the bed linen every 3 days. The beds were OK but we have had better elsewhere. The large screen TV did not seem to have a single English language channel, so we didn't use it at all. The balcony was a good size. The shower was excellent but the wash basin was designed not to have any means of plugging it and therefore could not be filled. The food was very good but with some minor criticisms. Over the time we were there the dishes at the buffet dinner did repeat to some extent but there was no obvious predictable pattern. There was always a good choice and each night one dish would always be served from a carvery counter. For dinner, we were assigned a permanent table and we were lucky enough to be given one by the window with the lake view. Breakfast was also buffet with extensive choice. Coffee was served in an insulated pot for each table. The restaurant staff were excellent. The location of the hotel by the lakeside is excellent for views, access to the lake, closeness to the boat station for scheduled trips to other lakeside towns, and for drivers (spacious hotel car park). However, the local walking options are limited. There is a steep hill up to Portese village and from there a short walk into San Felice. We also walked to Salo; it took us an hour, first half by road, second half on the lakeside. Lake Garda is lovely. We had been some years ago to the mountainous northern part of the lake, so we enjoyed seeing the lower lying southern parts that we had not previously managed to visit. Sirmione is a must but was very crowded, even in late September.

Excellent hotel. Clean. Tidy. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Great views. Room was nice and modern and clean. Breakfast was always good and the bar staff in the evening were excellent. Ferry stop 30 second walk away. Salò is just a 30 minute walk too. Would come back for sure and would definitely recommend
