The our house is situated in Tuscany, in the Chianti area,between the villages of San Casciano in Val di Pesa and Mercatale in Val di Pesa. This charming zone has always been covered by vineyards and olive-groves producing valued wines and oils. Little villages, parish churches and castles of great cultural and historical interest, make the most of this countryside. The holiday house 'Il Prugnolo' is an ex rural building which is constituted by a barn and a farmhouse, dating 1500. In 2007 it was wholly restructured but it maintains its ancient features: the floors, the ceilings and the Impruneta's brick vaults. This spot of Chianti is situated on a fascinating hill at 310 meters above sea level.
