I did not end up staying here and tried to cancel my reservation. Though I purchased insurance for “free cancellations,” I was still charged the full amount for the room—which I paid in advance. The reason for my cancellation was because the staff would not take my Apple Card (which was solvent) for a deposit of $25 at the front desk of the hotel—this is after I paid in full for the room on the same Apple card. I was turned away at the desk, told I would be refunded, and am now being told that my payment is non-refundable.
