H10 Salou Princess

Twelve of us just got back from H10 Salou Princess. Overall the experience was great. On first impressions we were a little disappointed but once we looked passed the small disabled room and the vintage vibes we loved it. Place could do to be updated a little as some rooms were nicer and modernised than others. We all said we would return in the future, the staff at the hotel was outstanding and really was hard working. In particular we loved the bar staff Santi as he has so much charisma. We loved Jerry from the animation team but he left. Wronica did an excellent job in following in his footsteps. She went above and beyond and so smiley (ai ai ai). I wish the very best to them. The food was good but some of us felt that there could have been a little more choice. We would have loved the opportunity to buy a hot coffee or tea with our evening meal which isn’t currently an option. I am in a wheelchair and found getting around fair easy however the pool hoist was in the deepest part of the pool and being small it wasn’t easy to get on and off as me and members of my family couldn’t feel the floor. If it was in a slightly different place this would be much better. A ramp could have been useful at both sides of the outside bar/snack bar, as only offers at one side but when busy it’s hard to get around. In the rooms you have to buy or hire a kettle which was disappointing for most of the family as in most 4* resorts this comes included. The disabled room was incredibly small and if a full time wheelchair user you can’t get to the balcony as furniture and beds are in the way. The room hasn’t been designed for a family with a disabled adult and hotel state it’s based on 2 people sleeping, this was not ideal because my level of disability means that I rely on the help of two people. The bathroom was very spacious with walk-in shower and handrails. A bigger vanity unit near sink would have been ideal as not much space to put things on currently. I think not just for a disabled room just all in general should have a none slip mat for the shower as it gets extremely slippy and could be dangerous. I recommend this place and will return in the future. And as a collective group of 12 people we all agree that it’s a place to go back too.

Lovely hotel! Entertainment staff were amazing especially with our six year old. Rooms were lovely and the bar staff worked really hard especially the ones outside on an evening who were lovely and attentive especially Michael who went out of his way to serve us! Have booked to come back next year we can’t wait!

nice hotel good location not far from beach and night life nice pool even though it was a bit cold after all it was oct jaccoussi was nice and warm though food was ok rooms were nice bath or shower available all in all hotel fine and salou nice it was our first time there would go again

We were pretty disappointed in our stay. Myself and my partner were traveling with our 6 year old and the room we got was basically 3 single beds all pushed together, the room was tiny and really dated. The receptionist didn't tell us anything on check in like what number reception was or anything. The fridge was gross when we checked in. The towels were only changed once during our week stay which was the day before we left, and don't think the room was actually cleaned, although beds were made but sheets were never changed. It was €1 for fresh towels which is pretty petty for four stars. I cleaned the floor and sides myself with wipes because it felt dirty. The worse part of the holiday was the sunbed situation, it's an absolute joke. Huge queues starting from about 8:00am with people waiting for the doors to pool area to open at 9.00am. You then see a swarm of humans run like ************ to grab the beds ( I have a video of this and it's so cringe). Within 3 mins of the doors opening, all the beds are gone. You have people without kids hogging the areas closer to the pool and others that take first dibs on same bed every day. We went to the pool twice and only for a couple of hours, we had to just leave out stuff on chairs near bar, as a family you want to be able to relax but I had to be in the pool for the whole duration my 6 year old was playing because I couldn't see her from the area where I could get seat. You see just how selfish people can be, reserving the sunbeds and leaving them for hours on end and not giving anyone else any chance to enjoy their holiday. Staff were okay, one of the bar men at the bar near pool was incredibly rude and looked p***ed off, he also stressed at me for waiting to be served at the side of the bar rather than at the front (note there is no signage to say queue from front) the other bar men didn't complain. The kids and adult entertainment weren't great, a magic show which was more like a tragic show and I kid you not, towel folding on stage. Getting a table was as bad as the sun beds and audio was terrible. On a plus, location was good and food in the buffet area was okay. Bar food was alright on our first day then after than went down hill, it was as if they put freshly cooked chips on top and old stale chips underneath. They were barely edible. And it was €4 for a portion of fries from the hotel. Please note that shops near hotel are expensive in comparison to the ones on stretch. We had a nice holiday but mainly because we ventured out, we certainly wouldn't return. Top Tip: La Barca restaurant was lovely, on the sea front towards the monument, we ate there twice. Salmon was lovely and watching the sun go down was a bonus. Also, Blue Monkey restaurant which is nearer the centre is worth a visit too.

Great location and value for money. We stayed at this hotel for a week half board last year. We found the hotel very good value for money, we chose it for the location as it’s very close to everything. Walking distance to the local water park, the *****, lots of restaurants and bars and the beach. The food was okay, nothing amazing but good quality for what we expected. It was easy enough to swap each day wether we wanted lunch or dinner. We didn’t eat in the hotel any evenings so can’t comment on the food at this time. The pool area was clean, we never had to queue for beds, always beds available somewhere. We enjoyed the hot tub on the terrace as well nice and quiet up there. The rooms were average size, not too crowded. Very clean I was pleasantly surprised how clean the rooms and the hotel in general were. Overall we enjoyed our stay, we found this hotel to be a great location for what we wanted and also very good value for money.

The entertainment team is amazing 🤩 Dani and Arian were such funny and I love them so much I’ll miss them (show Arian and Dani ) The hotel was clean and staff was very polite I hope to return eventually Mya

Great hotel rooms cleaned every day staff work very hard , breakfast is spot on !! Lovely food , I honestly can’t fault this hotel .. great location , bar staff 🍹🍹🍹all work so hard , all really friendly and helpful .. special thanks to Santi bar man , very hard worker , very nice man , polite, nice to stop and chat about your day , and the best cocktails 🍹ever from Santi ! Well done keep up the good work !! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely hotel, right near bars and restuarants and supermarkets to the right and left , we where at front of hotel which we liked as plenty to watch when on balcony but not noisey when doors are shut, hotel is spotless and cleaners are so friendly and do a great job every day, all staff are lovely, we wernt great on the food tho hit and a miss at all sittings so we ate out most of the time, the canteen is always crowded and a lot of faffing about for food and tea/coffee all the time, was a bit of a pain tbh, the pool is fab and always plenty sun loungers and parasols any time of day so no need to bother about the mad rush at 9am, the entertainment staff are fab and friendly too, we sat at cafe outside for drinks or a snack every afternoon and the bar staff are very hard worked especially Juan, Michael, and another few apart from santi omg he just walks around talking and checking and touching stuff non stop in the MIDDLE of serving you he is so slow and lazy dont let him serve you , youl be there for ages, like we where every day, ..you get an arm band that stays on you all week to open room door but we said no thanks and just put it in our bags , receptionists are all lovely people and is helpful, ask them anything and it's no trouble, I would come back to this hotel but we like trying others out wherever we are going , the wee noddy train stops at hotel too as do the other busses if your going a day out, anyway you wont regret coming to this hotel , have fun

We arrived on 1st June and were greeted by the reception team. We had to wait for our room until 1pm. In this time, we took a wonder around the hotel and had a drink. The reception and bar area were clean. This hotel has 3 lifts. They are meant to fit 8 people in. Takes a while to wait for one with lots of different people using them, so it was easier to use the stairs. We were room 342 on the 3rd floor. Our room faced the road way. Found it to be quiet during the night. Access to your hotel room is different at this hotel. You don't get a card to tap on the door. You get a bracelet with a chip in it to open your door, which you put around your waist. The food variety for breakfast and dinner was decent. To our liking anyway. Never used the swimming pool on this visit, but we were told the water was warm.
