Beautiful hotel, with nice pool area. Nice lake for walking and sunset watching. The room size was good, modern design & beautifully decorated. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was good.

Had a fantastic stay. Room was large with balcony and had a partial view of the lake. Great location, right on thelake and just outside the marina, short walk along the lake to the centre and ferry terminal. Staff was always pleasant and helpful. Will definitely stay again.

We visited the property when it was first constructed, and the current renovation is breathtaking! No expense was spared. From the moment you enter, The Bellerive is impressive to all the senses. Very elegant, tasteful contemporary design, subtle but pleasing colors, Excellent Wi-Fi and AC. The attention to details for comfort and design are evident throughout the spacious, luxurious guest rooms and bathrooms. Perfect breakfast, couldn’t ask for more. Best morning doppio cappuccino ever! Cheerfully served, along with freshly-squeezed orange juice, referred to as “Sprematura.” Inviting pristine pool, wonderful lounges and pool beds, surrounded by tranquil gardens. Nothing is spared- The hotel even provides a full-time lifeguard! Most Attentive Staff! The old- world quality of dedicated service overflows here. I think in Italy special training is mandatory, (and everyone speaks flawless English) but each of the staff naturally exude warmth and caring. All areas of personnel are exceptionally courteous, smiling and quick to respond to any requests. At the Bellerive, they go one step further than above and beyond. Nestled in a serene stretch in Salò’ overlooking the lake, most rooms have a terrace with direct view of the sailboats moored. Adjacent is a delightful park for children to explore and de-energize. Little stroll to best gelato at La Romana Gelateria. Excellent cuisine is served in the hotel as well as cocktails on the patio overlooking the passagiata. The free secure car parking area on the gated hotel grounds was most appreciated and convenient. Compliments to everyone, including Ottavia, Lucrezia, Giuseppe, Andrea, and the especially to the gracious and brilliant General Manager, Alessandra, Brava! It was our second visit to the hotel since the refurbishment and change of management in winter 22/23 and we were keen to see if they had improved on their initial shortcomings. Unfortunately, they hadn't. While the rooms have of course improved (except for the beds, which are far too small and the mattresses far too hard), the service is still lacking. However, this is not due to the staff - who are always helpful and friendly - there is simply a lack of a good hotel manager who knows what customers want. A "host" who walks through the hotel with an attentive eye, recognizes weaknesses and optimizes details. That is the decisive difference between a good and a very good hotel. It's not the facilities, it's the service that turns a 4-star hotel into a 5-star hotel. A FEW EXAMPLES: Every vacationer wants to have breakfast on the terrace in summer. But this is not possible because only 5 of the 15 tables are in the shade and it is of course too hot in the sun. There are simply far too few parasols and the few that are there are placed without any sense or reason. We were able to observe this absurdity for 10 days. APROPOS BREAKFAST: Nothing has been done about this weak point either. Unfortunately, the buffet has the charm and offerings of a chain hotel. It is truly not worthy of a 5-star hotel. ABSURD: Two pool towels are provided for a couple. If you want two more, you have to pay € 10. Seriously? 5-star hotel? CONCLUSION: With the right hotelier, the hotel could perhaps develop into a real 5-star hotel. At the moment it only deserves 4 stars at best and is therefore rather disappointing. That's a shame, because we'd actually like to come back because we've really liked the Bellerive for 15 years. But they make it really difficult. Maybe it's time to look at the alternatives after all.

Great hotel with terrific service. Very quiet part of Lake Garda . We really enjoyed our two night stay here. Good breakfast ( included). Dinner was also good. Loved the location on the lake, plus they had a nice swimming pool with bar service. I can’t wait to stay here again.

El Hotel Bellerive nos sorprendió con su excelente servicio desde el primer momento, haciéndonos sentir relajados y bien atendidos.. La habitación era cómoda y elegante, con buena vista. La decoración de las habitaciones y zonas comunes están muy cuidadas y hace que tu estancia sea especial. El servicio es atento. El desayuno, variado y delicioso. La ubicación es ideal: frente al lago, en una zona tranquila del paseo marítimo, pero a solo unos pasos de los animados bares y restaurantes de Salò. En resumen, un hotel encantador en un entorno perfecto, muy recomendable para disfrutar de Salò con tranquilidad y comodidad.
