Cortijo la Fe

As experienced travelers around Spain, we want to tell you this: Granada has its Alhambre, Cordoba - Mezqiun. Olive groves, small towns and picturesque villages share both astonishing, sophisticated and dignified monuments. It is here, with a view of the mountain ranges, that is a cozy place where we spent two weeks. This is where we came back after our daily trips to meet the culture of Andalusia. This is where we came back home. Where a comfortable rest, silence awaited us. Here we had the time and conditions for the sensations of the whole day to digest and with a glass of chilled wine we admired the huge valley strewn with what Andalusia has the best. We fell in love with this place because we felt special here. Many thanks to Nina and Jan for all this and congratulations on this achievement. You've created Casa Rural Superior in the full sense of the word.

Another year past and we had of course visit Nina and Jan’s place near Montefrio during our annual trip to Andalusia. Why? We love the tranquility of the area, the atmosphere of the accommodation, the quality of rooms, food (and drinks!) and the hospitality of the owners. The combination of these factors make one feel at home, probably the main reasons why so many people prefer to stay at good B&B’s instead of the big hotels. We had again a wonderful stay and one night a lovely dinner with a international group of guests. The best? Sitting on the terrace underneath the vines enjoying the good life or lounging at the pool and just dreaming away. Don’t know, don’t care in fact. Hasta pronto amigos!

This has been our third visit to La Fe and the first time since Nina and Jan are running it. What a great place it has become. Nothing bad about the previous owners Dominique and Richard, but Nina and and Jan have taken the Cortijo to a next level. Rooms have been upgraded, the dining room is picture perfect and the terraces are inviting. The crispy white walls make it as Andalusian as it gets. If you are warm and tired of the lovely towns and cities closely such as Granda! this is the place to unwind amongst the olive groves. But better watch out for Nina’s cooking skills, weight watching required. We will be back.

A quite place and a beautiful house with a gorgeaus view and aesthetic value, lovingliy designed in the middle of nowhere. We thank our hosts for their gorgeaus hospitality. Most important of all: the beds are huge and cosy and warm. We've slept heavenly. We'll definitely come back, even Charly ;)

I couldn’t recommend this place more. We had a wonderful stay with Nina and Jan. You couldn’t wish for more thoughtful and kind hosts. The place itself is unbelievably stunning with views over the olive groves. I would recommend this for people who want a luxurious home away from home, a place to switch off and unwind. Absolute bliss! We do hope to come back again!

Oasis de tranquilidad rodeado de montes y olivos. Los dueños son super atentos y simpáticos, siempre con una sonrisa en la cara, cosa que echo en falta en muchos lugares hoy en día. La limpieza y la atención al detalle son intachables.

Lugar encantador, tranquilo, se respira paz entre tanta naturaleza, limpieza 100%, comida exquisita y que mejor junto a John y Nina, grandes personas, amables, cariñosas, simpaticas, atentas, cercanas que consiguen conectar desde el minuto uno, gracias a ellos tenemos un rincón tan bello en Montefrío.

Nina y Jan dirigen desde Junio de 2020 este maravilloso lugar. Dos personas muy amables y dedicadas con sus clientes. Desde que llegas te hacen sentir como en casa. Relajación, es la palabra clave. En plena naturaleza y en un entorno idílico. Volveremos. Gracias Nina y Jan.

Es difícil encontrar un lugar mejor para desconectar de las prisas y el ruido. Cortijo delicioso con 6 habitaciones, totalmente remodelado al estilo nórdico pero manteniendo la esencia del cortijo original. Tu única compañía serán los infinitos olivares, el horizonte limpio, el silencio, la paz y, por supuesto el saber hacer de Nina y Jan que hacen de tu estancia una experiencia íntima y familiar. Gracias por dos maravillosos días y suerte en vuestra nueva experiencia vital a los mandos de un lugar paradisíaco. All the best for both!
