레 비뉴 드 라 샤펠르(Les Vignes de la Chapelle, the Originals Relais)

Fantastic small friendly hotel. staff were excellent, welcoming and always helpful .Bike hire available at a good price .breakfast fantastic with local produce .bar service available all day and light snacks and light meals also available. Small pool great for children and cooling off .close to a beach with rock pools .hotel surrounded by vineyards with glimpses of the Atlantic near by . short walk to a lovely town. Free bus service locally and regular buses to other towns on the Island and La Rochelle.

Room was very nice and the pool whilst cold was nice, staff were as helpful as they could be. The area that really let the hotel down was the food, despite booking breakfast the night before they didn't have enough croissants etc for us (€18 per head) and all the lunch / dinner options were frozen jars of premade pasta and they didn't even have all of the ones on the menu, which made it a nightmare with kids. If it was much cheaper I'd care less, but for the money paid I'd expect to be able to eat something fresh / at least have the choice on the menu - meant we had to go out for each meal 😢

The hotel is brand new and very clean but it's hard to recognize it as a 4 star hotel. The swimming pool is quite small, and above all every extra (as parking, breakfast, coffe, bikes ) has to be payed quite expensive. The very positive note is the service, Stesy and the other reception girls have been exceptional. Extremely kind, helpful and with a great sense of problem solving. Thank you so much!

The room was very practical for a family of four. The loft had two single beds for the kids. It’s was functional and clean. The breakfast was good. Eggs and freshly squeezed orange juice. We sat by the pool on the morning of our day of departure and were told there was no WC we could use, as it was closed due to Covid restrictions. It’s just plain annoying Covid is used as an excuse for some many things currently. Every bar and restaurant seems able to operate a public WC…. We had shown our vaccination passports too… anyway don’t want that to ruin what was otherwise a pleasant stay

Bon emplacement au calme et entouré de vignes bien situé pour ballade en vélo sur l ile. Bonne accueil personnel a l écoute de nos souhaits. Parking privé pour véhicule.

Nous avons séjournée une nuit seulement mais avons profité du spa et petit déjeuner. Super endroit au milieu des vignes, loin de la foule, super accueil, très bon moment, nous reviendrons sans hésiter!

Nous sommes extrêmement ravis de notre séjour sur l'île.. L'hôtel est impeccable et le personnel à l'écoute et à la disposition du client.. Seul bémol le peix du parking un peu excessif.. Destination indispensable si vous le faites hors saison

Je vous recommande cette hôtel avec un service impeccable un avre de tranquillité de grandes plages vous attendes s vous êtes fane de vélo n'hésitez pas de grande balade autour de l'île vous attende de très bonnes vacances
