코도바 인(Cordova Inn)

The Cordova Inn is a historic hotel, 3 floors, staff friendly, accommodations unique. Room was clean. Be aware that there are 3 different bathroom styles. We had a claw foot tub with a shower and it was difficult to get in and out of the tub. Small bathroom. Other bathrooms either have a walkin shower or shorter tub. Also, construction next door, which was loud starting about 7am.

Service was so so. I felt that we were being looked down on because we did not dress up and because we had a motorcycle. Also, I was woken up at 1:30am due to construction and couldn't go back to sleep. We cut our stay short because of these reasons.

Beautiful hotel. Bit of building work going on, so not much of a view, but the room was lovely, the hotel lobby area is really nice and it's in a nice area...short walk to the pier area. Only criticism is that the bath in the room was very difficult to get out of. It needs a mat or something. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. If I ever visit the area again, I will be looking at this hotel.

Cordova Inn was a great experience for us with spacious rooms, historic charm and super location within walking distance to St. Pete Pier. Staff was very friendly, parking convenient and the local bar added life to the lobby and front porch.

As so many others mentioned happened to them, I was told parking was complimentary. It was NOT. When I called to question the $68 charge on my bill, the manager HUNG UP ON ME. Yeh, left a real bad taste in my mouth. What a shame, cuz I liked the place. Oh, and sink didn’t really work.

I found the Hotel policy of the front desk closing at 6pm and opening at 10 am deplorable. Those are the only hours guests are not around. If you need help, and I did, after 6pm you are out of luck. Th hotel provides a phone number with the ominous warning if you call after hours make sure it is a real emergency. Guess what? Guests at almost every other hotel in the world have a front desk in which to ask simple questions of but not at Cordova, They want to only hear from you if it was an emergency. Complying with their request I did not have internet during my stay. Complicating my trip immensely. I will not stay there again.

Construction on addition directly outside our window with no knowledge of it until we checked in. No elevator and no help with bags going to the third floor.

We got a great deal on this room, which is what drew our attention to the Cordova Inn. The room was barely above average. The bathrooms are very dated, the flooring creaks and moves as you walk around and the bed was relatively uncomfortable. However it was quaint for our two night stay. What made the experience so much better, was the coffee shop/bar in the lobby. We were greeted with friendly faces and delicious drinks each morning and evening. The area is also relatively walkable which we appreciated!

Our room was about 100 sq feet less than promised the bathroom was about 4 x 8 feet in total although they had more rooms they would not move us. the walls were thin could hear snoring from another room. Hole in wall Nowhere to plug in charger. We left after one night.
