Excellent all round! We stayed for 6 nights, the cosy room was very well appointed and serviced, with great en suite, especially the shower. We had a well cooked breakfast every morning, which kept us going until we ate in the evening. We ate at The Farmhouse on 3 evenings, lovely food in good sized portions. Other nights, we ate elsewhere, being dropped off at the hotel door by the local bus. The Farmhouse is in an excellent central village location, peaceful, but with good bus links to airport and ferry. Most of all, the amostphere is so warm and relaxed, and this is due to the friendly, smart and professional staff, always greeting you with a smile! Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Guernsey! We decided upon the Farmhouse as the venue for our daughter’s wedding celebration after assessing the competition. The package wasn’t cheap but represents value given the quality of the setting, ambiance, food & drink and service. I can totally recommend the Farmhouse across the board from the planning with Stuart, through set up and then during the day (and evening). I thought the staff were excellent: professional, calm, efficient and friendly even whilst under pressure. The food was outstanding especially when you consider they were catering for 100+. What I also like is the numerous public rooms ( and gorgeous outside areas) so the guests can spread out. So if you are planning a special occasion, definitely consider the Farmhouse. You may have to stretch your budget but it’s worth it for a once in a lifetime occasion!

Lovely hotel and staff. Very clean and plenty of parking space. BUT beware of late night parties. Prior to our arrival we had been warned of a wedding taking place on the Friday night and the loud music playing until 11.45pm. But there was also a 30th birthday bash taking place on the Saturday night of which we had not been pre-advised. This appeared to be an almighty booze up, again with loud music which went on until just after midnight. Don’t expect any sleep until after midnight on such nights. We quite understand that hotels have to take bookings and keep as busy as possible from a financial point of view, but we thought of Guernsey as a quiet restful destination and we supposed this 4 star hotel would be likewise. Many of the rooms have windows overlooking the concert hall so there was no chance to avoid the racket. If we went back to this hotel we would avoid weekends when I guess there is a greater chance that such parties are taking place.

My wife and I are currently at the Farmhouse Hotel for a three night stay. What can I say! Excellent, excellent,excellent. This hotel is superb. Spotlessly clean. Our room is just fantastic, with everything we need, from bottled water to fruit to homemade biscuits. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who all seem to be from the Philippines. They are all so friendly and efficient. Whatever the owner is paying them they should double it! Our meal in the restaurant was first class . If you're looking for a stay on Guernsey your can't go wrong with a stay at this hotel.

The staff were courteous and efficient. The food was delicious. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. However given this isn’t a cheap hotel, they failed to mention the cappuccinos are rationed to one per person at breakfast. Also, beware that they will cancel your booking if a wedding opportunity arises after you have booked your hotel room.

What a fabulous stay; fantastic setting and facilities, wonderful staff and just superb food and hospitality. And it is the small details that matter; the staff were so unintrusively attentive and nothing was 'too much'. The rooms are beautifully appointed and it is clear that the Farmhouse puts great store in cleanliness, maintenance of infrastructure and functionality. The bed was superb and i have not enjoyed such sound rest in a hotel in a long time. The room-breakfast package is outstanding value and such a great way to start the day with 'to order' cooked breakfast and a great selection of continental options. Just a superb stay in every respect that was over all too quickly.

Hotel facilities were excellent and staff were very friendly and helpful. Fantastic food and immaculate room. Gardens are lovely to relax in and the hotel is beautifully decorated. Would highly recommend!

We had the best stay at this hotel. The staff were amazing, the room was beautiful and the food excellent. Couldn't fault it at all. Even the toiletries were lovely and there was a complementary decanter of port. Thank you Farmhouse Hotel. It was perfect for a special birthday.
