We came to this hotel for the fondue in the Gondala. It was a lovely experience and I would highly recommend. The staff were delightful, all very polite and attentive. The food was delicious, it was clean, very warm and comfortable. Very reasonably priced. The waiter was chatty, smiley and his enthusiasm enhanced our experience. They also provided a driver to take us back down to the town afterwards.

Decided to go for a spontaneous weekend stay in St. Moritz and stayed in one of the most incredible hotels in the Alps! I loved everything, from A to Z. I also had the best view overlooking the gorgeous frozen St. Moritz lake. The staff is enormously kind, and you can feel the passion of each employee. It didn't feel like a hotel; it felt like I had never left home. THANK YOU!!

A visit to the Sun terrace restaurant in the Carlton Hotel did not impress me. The location is great, the view is fantastic. The food is ok. The service is disaster! But I have to say that the occupancy was less than 50%. First of all, we waited a long time for someone to come pick up the order, after we finished our food, it took more than half an hour for them to come clear the table. We waited about 45 minutes for the tiramisu we ordered... Yes, and let me not forget to mention the confusion when they initially claimed that we did not have a reserved table, although of course we did...

Centrally located and showing spectacular views of the lake, mountains and the city, this hotel will make you feel relaxed and happy. You wouldn’t want to leave when the time comes. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is professional and very helpful. Highly recommended if you want to be spoiled and pampered. One other nice thing is they offer free-of-charge limousine service to the city center or the train station which is very convenient.

A for service, what a great hotel!

We are a family of 4 (2 kids ages 9 and 11)- we just stayed at the Carlton St. Moritz for 3 night and were spoiled more than at any other 5 star hotel we have stayed in so far. We loved the location, amenities, food. ambiance, views, staff… everything. Can’t find one fault. Highly recommend!

After our eight hour ride on the Glacier Express, we made it to The City of St. Moritz at the train station and was met by Jorge who was the shuttle driver from the Carlton. It was a very short ride up the mountain and the hotel over looks the frozen lake that is used in the winter time for horse racing. The hotel was beautiful. Massive decor, crown moldings and wall moldings adorn the premises. Old polished wood blanket the interior. The restaurant where we ate for the free breakfast looked like the interior of the White House in Washington DC when we went there for a tour a while back. With its bright colors, large windows and old decor makes this place looks like a antique dealers dream. The pool and spa was nice and warm. The swim trough from the main pool to the outside pool was great. It has those commercial hard plastic dividers, like the ones in a meat locker that you can spread aside and walk through. The Whirlpool jets make the water bubble up and keeps you very warm while you are outside. The Sauna and Steam-room was awesome. Coed steam room and separate ladies and men's sauna. Open showers with no doors makes it easy to get in and out. There was a middle aged couple in the steam room that we shared together and did have a small conversation. Very comfortable with each others presence due to the steamy and dark conditions. And to add that it is clothes free steam room!!! Just make sure you have your towel to sit on! Overall, a very nice stay here at the Carlton. It's a five star gem!!! Enjoy!!!
