라베이 드 탈루아르(Abbaye de Talloires)

해가 질 때 호수 전망을 감상할 수 있는 야외 바와 마찬가지로 위치도 환상적입니다. 객실은 괜찮았지만 약간 낡았으며 특히 시끄러운 에어컨이 있었습니다.

I made this present for the birthday of my girl! We had and amazing stay in this place ! Everything was perfect I truly recommend ! Staff was very professional and kind with us, they find solution for everything you need. The views to the garden and the lake from the bedroom are amazing. Elegant, well-appointed old hotel. Beautiful rooms. The most excellent part is their location and view. It feels secluded, yet right on the water with cabana's for their guests. Relax by the water with your wine and snacks, swim. Set up for leisure. Only downsides are finding your way in, call the hotel, GPS won't help you. Hope to get an English speaker that is better than what we found. The doors won't open with their ancient keys unless you are super strong. 3 of us women could never get into our rooms. The hotel just shrugs. The restaurant is sublime, the staff friendly. Great spot.

The room was smaller than expected but the bed was very comfortable. The small balcony had a lovely outlook over the garden and lake. The grounds of the hotel were lovely, right on the lakefront. Even though we were hotel guests we felt pressured to purchase drinks from the hotel bar (outside) to simply sit in the grounds and enjoy the view. We found this upselling a bit intrusive rather than relaxing. Guests weren't allowed to eat anything in the grounds, even a small snack or piece of fruit, if it was purchased external to the hotel. We witnessed other guests loudly complaining about being reprimanded about this. Food at the hotel was expensive so we chose to dine elsewhere. The hotel building is a delight, being a converted abbey, and had loads of ambience. The room had a safe, kettle and mini fridge and beach towels (for lake swimming) were provided. Staff were friendly and helpful with luggage as there is no lift. Talloires itself is a beautifully scenic spot but the hotel was not a totally relaxing experience.

We discovered the hotel "Abbeye de Talloires" via a special offer. Enjoyed drinks and a seafood platter under the trees of the hotel bar with a beautiful view on the lake. The room was clean, comfortable with everything we needed for the spa and the reserved area by the lake for a swim and a bit of sunbathing. Breakfast was nice. Limited choice of fruit and cheeses. The staff had difficulties to fill up the missing items as the breakfast room was busy. But everything fresh, even the orange juice was freshly squeezed. Would go back with the family to discover the pretty area around the lake. Alexandre at the reception was very helpful.

We only stayed for 1 night as we were on a driving holiday. The Abbaye de Tolloires was a fantastic place to stay in, with lots of history and original charm about the building, mixed in with modern aspects that have been added tastefully. We were able to make use of the spa facilities, which were a very welcome at the end of a long day of driving. The room we stayed in was clean, cosy and comfortable. We had a garden view but once on the balcony you could see over the lake. It was a lovely place to stay and would recommend it.

We had stayed at the Lake of Annecy a long time ago, but we immediately experienced the calm serenity of the place again. And of all the charming villages around the lake, Talloires is certainly the most charming. And of all the hotels in Talloires, the Abbaye is without doubt the place to stay. The Abbaye is much more than a hotel, it is a refuge, and that is precisely what it has always been since its foundation.

Return visits to our favourite hotel - idyllic location on the lake side, amazing restaurant and menu and a most relaxing place to be with most helpful, friendly and professional staff. Thankyou again we''ll be back next year!

The Abbaye is a unique hotel in a stunning setting. We enjoyed our stay very much but there are definitely areas that need improvement. The concierge desk is disorganized and inconsistent in its helpfulness. There was NO WIFI in our room ( we stayed a week- so this was miserable) We had to go out into the hallway, quite a distance down from our room in order to send emails, and even out in the hallway, the reception was mediocre. The tv in our room did not work , or at least we could not figure out how to get it to work. The dinner in the courtyard was very good. One night we had room service and ordered the dinner that came in glass covered dishes. It was terrible. The food was cold, and mediocre. One dessert was the molten chocolate cake and it was so overcooked that it tasted like paper. The parking situation is a dent waiting to happen. The hotel is understaffed but those who work there were very nice, patient, and tried their best. The hotel could be a lot better and could charge a lot more if some of these problems could be addressed. it's a beautiful spot. The swimming is fabulous, and the location in Talloires is priceless. I would definitely go back, but would hope for at least some wifi in our room!
