The hotel looks nice but is overpriced for what you get at a Marriott, no frills or perks for members. Each bed sagged in the two rooms we had, no one slept well. They charge a 50$ night fee for incidentals so depending on your stay could put a hefty hold on your card. We thought 50$ total but it was 500$. Personally I would rather pay as I go for any little munchies from their 2X4 snack shop, but since I was forced with this hold we just charged waters. You should have a choice and their choice per hotel staff… if you don’t like the policy leave. I’m my 20 years as a member, I have never ever had such a rude encounter or response. Honestly I would have traded hotels had my daughter not been with and she wouldn’t have freaked out. The same response came from customer service when I inquired how much they can charge and it’s basically anything they want up to 50$ a night. So at this 2.5 star hotel they are charging the maximum with no valet, paid parking, restaurant, resort fee, spa, in room movies, room service and etc. Your funds are held hostage for a little 2X4 store that most people won’t use and certainly won’t spend 50 a night. I would never recommend this hotel or Marriott hotels as post COVID their customer care is subpar. Please look at surrounding hotels in the area whose prices are similar and the hotel chains have a better customer care reputation and quality of service. This was one of my worst hotel experiences and definitely worst as a Marriott member.
