Kedar Camp Resort

Beautiful place, fantastic food, very comfortable accommodation,very supportive staff, it's one of the best place to enjoy scenary, best place to click pictures. I have been there with my family,felt like second home.

It was a real pleasure to stay in this camp. The owner and his staff are really very good, kind, available. The Camp is very well located, close to hiking trails. We had a wonderful stay. We will come back with pleasure for a next stay.

I keep on going in Kedar Camp Resorts for several years now. As well with a small group of people as alone. The location is stunning, with a panoramic view on the Himalayas, especially Chauckhamba just in front of us, and it is also very quiet. Tents are very comfy with a private bathroom and hot water. And Cottages are lovely too, providing extra comfort. Beds are very comfortable. Food is excellent and service is perfect. On top, there is a Yoga hall. You feel at home. The surroundings of Kedar Camp are still authentic, with small villages and farmers, breath-taking landscapes...for walking and discovering local culture or nature and the diversity of birds, it is absolutely perfect. Also ideal place to visit temples around like Triyuginarayan, Kedarnath, Okhimat and Kalimath. And to take the Chopta trek unto Chandra Shila. At Kedar Camp, you can truly re-energize yourself deep inside.

We stayed here for our visit to kedarnath. One of the best places I have stayed in Utaarkhand. The owner is very hospitable and helpful. Entire staff is kind and hardworking. They all went out of way to make our stay comfortable. Definitely will return to this place.

What a wonderful hotel and location where you can have magnificent view of mountains, staff was eager to help and very nice food with ample verity’s , we had booked our helicopter from guptkashi to Kedarnath and surprisingly helipad was just in 1 km and it was overall a nice stay…

Kedar Camp Resorts is truly the GUPT (secret or hidden in Hindi) jewel of GuptKashi Uttarakhand! The place is full of Easter Eggs - the longer you stay, the more you'll keep discovering. While people largely come there as a comfortable to stopover onwards to Kedarnath but I would urge one to see it as something beyond a mere a rest stop. Some of the Easter eggs or things you'll discover here (easy to list as points) 1) The quaint little house which resembles an English ***or with vines / grapes growing on the walls outside. 2) I was informed one can see more than 65 bird species during the year, around the hotel grounds. 3) More than hundred variety of flora & fauna on the grounds incl. Strawberries, Mulberries, Yellow berries et al. You are free to pick any time of the day! Do ask the staff to provide you some during breakfast - ITs FREE:) do tip the staff though for their effort! 4) Every corner is YOGA & Meditation corner in this camp. Sit anywhere and you'll discover calm & silence. BTW the resort has a full fledged Yoga room, fully equipped with mats etc. They have a separate fully equipped gym too. 5) The vegetarian food is to die for! Mukesh bhaiya prepares the most scrumptious meals and the pipping hot masala chai in the lawn in the cold weather is pure bliss! 6) The rooms (tents and wood cottages) are very comfortable, clean and have all amenities that one can think of for the weather here eg woolen blankets, electric heaters and electric water bags for winters etc. 7) One can just sit around anywhere and get the 180 degree views of the Himalayas... truly truly magical and awe inspiring. 8) The forests around the camp gives it the necessary privacy, greenery and the trails one can hike around. 9) This place is truly a photographer's dream. 10) This place was originally concieved as a Yoga retreat and hence will serve any Yoga lover completely incl. facilities and sattvic food (if req.) 11) Hikers, trekkers too will love this place as all the major trekking and hiking trails are nearby eg Deoria Tal, Chopta, Tungnath, Kedarnath and ***y more. One can easily plan 6-7 days here and trek the entire region keeping this hotel as the base. 12) Couples will love this place for its total isolation, privacy. I can keep going on and on. We were here for more than 8 days and it was an effort to leave and come back to Bombay! A special shout out to Rahul R who ***ages the place. His team is excellent and will leave no stone unturned to make your stay most comfortable.
