레지던자 시아라(Residenza Sciarra B&B)

Great location! We were able to walk nightly to the Trevi fountain. We were within walking distance of the Pantheon and Colusseum as well. The friendly staff made it a wonderful experience.

Big plus for location, response time and service. Easy to find next to pharmacy. Walking distance to many sights/shopping area except maybe the Vatican. Enjoyed being able to retreat to the small, private breakfast area for lunch or rest in the small sofa during the day (although slightly stuffed air in the room). Busy area outside. Easy to get in touch with other people at breakfast time (four rooms using one breakfast area). Early checkout, but left our suitcases in the breakfast area which is only available for the four rooms, the day of our late departure. Minus for the very soft main bed which we almost slided out of. No complaints on the extra beds placed in the room and used by our teenage boys.

This place located right in the heart of Rome! There is a very vibrant restaurant by the entrance. The hotel consists of 4-5 rooms and common area for breakfast. Rooms are small. Our room had windows facing back with some construction. Other rooms had better vew. Communication with staff was easy and staff was very helpful.

I usually do not write reviews. Owner not on property. It seems to be vrbo. Communication throught whats app. Which is very minimal even with app. Small elevator that sometimes does not work so be prepared to take your luggage on your own up 4-5 flights of stairs. Need codes to get in. Was not given codes until after I arrives ( i send text back day i booked that I would arrive at 10 am) and found someone from another hotel who helped me. The lady who cleans is the only one for communication which she did not know alot of english or know answers too much. Light breakfast good. Location good. Restaurant at entrance very good and friendly staff.

The description of this place does not match reality, but it does have two good points: 1. Location, 2. Hot water in the shower. It’s not a king size bed, there’s no front desk or reception, there’s no laundry service, it’s super hard to find which is so stressful when you first arrive in a new city. We texted with the host but never saw anyone, she wasn’t able to help us in any way, its basically a hostel. If I knew what I was getting into it probably wouldn’t have been so frustrating. The queen size bed was old and had deep grooves on each side with a ridge in the middle that makes you feel like you’re falling off the edge. My husband and I slept on the rickety roll away cots and put our young kids in the main bed it was so bad. I messaged the host and she said that it was memory foam and everyone else loves it. I sleep on a memory foam mattress at home, this is not a feature of memory foam, it’s just an old mattress that needs to be replaced.

This was a wonderful place to stay and perfectly located to all of Rome's must-sees. I would definitely stay again and recommend.

The hotel owner, staff and the location are amazing. However a few areas for improvement are better details on the actual location and where to enter the building, better air conditioning as the room never cooled off enough and providing shampoo and conditioner would be appreciated.

We stayed at Residenza Sciarra as a family of 4 (2teenagers). The B&B is a little tricky to located, but the taxi driver knew exactly where to take us. The people who run this B&B were very good with communicating with me ahead of time and arranged both the pickup and drop of to the airport. I was able to communicate with them anytime through Whatsapp, so very convenient. The B&B is not manned, but all instructions and door lock codes were all provided to us. The B&B itself is SPOTLESS!!! They are excellent at cleaning. There is housekeeping daily, and towel exchange every 2 days. We never had an issue with anything. The breakfast is continental, with Delicious croissants, little sandwiches, yogurts, cereals, mild and juice and coffee! more than enough to get our day started! The location is absolutely the best and most convenient. Just steps from the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon, and no more than a 20min walk anywhere else. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel, and many taxis available all the time. The rooms are what you can expect from Europe. A little snug for the 4 of us with 4 HUGE suitcases and our bags, but we organized and found our routine, so no problem. Overall, I would say the Residenza Sciarra is a good stay for anyone looking for convenience and a good price!

The hosts were super helpful sending instructions and photos to make sure we found the door which is slightly off the main road. Location is amazing. Short walk to all the big sites which was awesome. The room is small - there were 4 people in our room, I think a queen or double and two small cots. The bed had a huge sinkhole. Very uncomfortable but the AC worked and there was coffee and food in the morning.
