B&B 비콜로 델 루포(Vicolo del Lupo Guesthouse)

Sono stata qui per un viaggio di lavoro. Non mi esprimerò sulla stanza che comunque ha il suo stile (anche se io lo trovo opprimente e antiquato), ma sulla totale assenza di disponibilità da parte dei proprietari! Gli ho scritto numerose volte solo per avere una ricevuta e non hanno MAI risposto. Non mi sembra di aver chiesto nulla di che, ma una semplice ricevuta di pagamento dal momento che lo scontrino era privo di dettagli. Vi chiederete perché non l'abbia chiesto al momento. L'ho fatto, ma al check-out c'era un ragazzo straniero che parlava poco italiano e che non ha compreso la mia richiesta e in ogni caso non avrebbe saputo aiutarmi. Sconsiglio questo hotel soprattutto se viaggiate per lavoro e dovete ottenere dei rimborsi. Inoltre, visto il prezzo, mi aspettavo quantomeno la colazione e un Wi-Fi funzionante!! Nella camera bunker Brown il Wi-Fi era una tragedia. Se dovete lavorare, è meglio andare altrove.

Ein B&B wo ein B fast fehlt, zum Glück das Breakfast und nicht das Bett. Fast, weil es gab 2 Nescaffehülsen und 2 plastikverpackte Gummicroisants pro Person. Am letzten Tag nur halbe Ration. Vor Anreise war es beinahe unmöglich, mit der Vermietung in Kontakt zu kommen. 4 Tage keine Antwort auf Mails und Whatsapp Fragen. Am Tag vor dem Abflug dann doch der Hinweis, mit welchem Code man ins Haus kommt. Danach wieder große Stille. Sehr beunruhigend. Zimmer in den Hinterhof und deshalb ruhig. Lärm von oben und von Nachbarzimmer geht 1:1 durch die Wand und Decke. Die Lage ist gut, ruhige Gasse, viele Lokale im Umkreis. 150/Nacht ist trotzdem zu viel für die "Leistung".

Posizione centralissima, dimensioni della camera e della doccia più che adeguate, pulizia curata. Nel prezzo non era compresa la colazione ma in camera era disponibile, a titolo di cortesia, un vassoio snack con prodotti di buona qualità, una bottiglia d'acqua ed un ebollitore per il tè. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccezionale.

You can walk to pretty much everywhere, although the Capitol/forum is a good 30mins (although fascinating so you’ll want to give it a bit longer and stop for coffees and ice creams and such). Room is absolutely fine. Big comfortable bed, hot shower and everything you need. The location is percect, a couple of minutes from the Spanish steps and loads of good quality restaurants, delicatessens, ice cream shops and bars right on the doorstep. Quite near the high end fashion shopping district but walkable to other more down to earth neighbourhoods. We spent four nights here in order to do a three day condensed visit to central Rome, the Vatican and Ancient Rome, and it’s hard to think of how it could have been better placed or more apt (assuming you like to be self-contained and don’t need the full services of a fancy hotel.)

Fun small place. It is a great location! You are right in the center of shopping and restaurants! Close to the metro but walking distance to almost everything! We were out early and in late so didnt get to try breakfast... We felt safe in the area!

The communication about the room was confusing and my daughter and I ended up in the wrong room but didn't know about that until Friday night when we thought someone was trying to get into our room. Unbeknownst to us, we had someone else's room and the way it was explained to use about how we were to get to our room, was not quite explained right. I think it should have been explained a bit better and maybe a picture should have been sent and we didn't get breakfast so we had to buy a lot of food.

We only got back yesterday and staying where we did in Rome was perfect. Location was amazing. The surrounding area was perfect for sight and dining out. Accommodation was better than we expected for the price, so much better than a cheap chain hotel. Individual and charming. Contact details were easy and self explanatory. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Thank you to Marta who was on hand via what’s app and to the gentleman at the B&B. If we can we will be back. Rome was amazing.
