Although the reviews on Emmanuele are positive, my family and I had the opposite experience. We booked several months in advance for our stay in July. A week after we booked, we made a slight change to our itinerary, and that’s when I reached out to see how he could accommodate us. That's when all hell broke loose. He was incredibly rude, repeatedly stating that I made a mess of things and treating it as though it was the end of the world. He even used the word "******" to describe the situation. Upon our arrival, Emmanuel agreed to issue a wire transfer for the refund, however his tone and mannerism were completely uncalled for and out of context. He kept complaining about the trouble we supposedly caused him. Moreover, he was drunk, his breath reeked of alcohol, and he smelled like a chimney. He had no idea what he was saying and was making absolutely no sense. He did not let me speak and kept talking over me, displaying complete narcissistic behavior. It seems that if you don’t ask him for anything, he will be fine. However, the minute you request something, especially if it involves a change, his dark side will prevail. He’s a dishonest individual with absolutely no respect for women and I would never recommend this place. This type of behavior is extremely unacceptable and very unprofessional.

I’m not sure I have ever experienced hospitality as good as we did at Cardilli luxury rooms. Emanuele messaged ahead our arrival with advice and how best to get to the apartments. We were very impressed with the rooms, they were beautifully decorated, clean and big. We had everything we needed and more. There are plenty of places on the doorstep to eat, we found a great bakery around the corner and ate breakfast there everyday. Plenty of nice restaurants for dinner a stones throw away. The location was perfect with most attractions a walkable distance. The bus for the Vatican is just around the corner. Train station also walkable to get to and from the airports. I would not hesitate to book here again, perfect for couples and families. We travelled as a family of 3 and the room was plenty big enough with our son sleeping on the sofa bed. He can’t wait to go back! The facilities were great with tea/coffee, mini bar and toiletries all provided. Clean towels and bedding with cleaning every day. Hairdryer and even straighteners available. We were able to leave our bags to collect later with a late flight allowing us to make the most of our final day. Our parents also stayed with them having a wonderful spa tub to soak after a day or exploring this beautiful city. Highly recommended!
