Beautifully and stylishly renovated chateau managed by welcoming, polite and attentive staff with exquisite food in a convenient location for onward travel. Tasteful and comfortable rooms around the courtyard, some more compact than others, excellent showers and very clean. Highly recommended.

We stayed with some friends on the way home from Germany to the UK. Everything was wonderful, from the welcome drink while our luggage was being placed in or room, to a fabulous dinner, fantastic nights sleep in our very comfy bed, to an absolutely fantastic leisurely breakfast, with accompanying champagne!! Would not hesitate to recommend and hopefully one day, return.

The hotel itself is gorgeous but is situated near the highway. When you want to relax on the terras outside the spa, you see and hear the traffic rushing by. On the positive side: it’s not a long ride when you leave the highway. Hotel- and restaurant staff is very kind and helpful. The rooms are very basic and on the small side. You really need the extra outside space on the ground floor rooms when you want to relax in your room. The shower in the rooms is great, so is the spa (but small). We did not have the opportunity to have dinner in the Michelin star restaurant because we didn’t read the opening hours right 🫣 That was a bit of a setback. The restaurant feels luxe and is high end, great menu, excellent winelist. The rooms of the hotel on the other hand feel 3-4 stars. A bit disappointing. But great beds! In short, a good stay, with a few tips for improvement.

Perfect stay, nice personnel, good food, excellent wines, room a bit too little... this was the only bad point...for the rest, nice environment, good breakfast, easy to find Nice to be with the family, nice piscine and comfortable sauna....

Very nice hotel with an excellent restaurant near Rochefort - the Lesse rooms are nice and clean - very friendly staff - the restaurant Arden really makes the different - one star Michelin - 7-course menu was just perfect - very impressive wine cellar

We were there for a weekend, and left with mixed feelings Positive - Very friendly and helpful staff, we got a tour in the private wine cellar, very impressive - Nice to get a welcome drink in a cosy bar setting - Free minibar - attentive turndown service - excellent dinner - good communication about the fact that we had dinner in a smaller room on the other side of the main restaurant, which for us was a plus as more quiet Negative - We had a very small room (room 6) with what I can only call half a window with no view whatsoever. Bathroom very large compared to the room size. Not worth the price of the room. - Minibar had only 1 item of each, I guess we could have asked for more but why don't they foresee it already - Dinner and wine pairing was overpriced for a 1 star Michelin restaurant - more like 1,5 star prices for 1 star food - Location close to the highway - annoing that you cannot access the spa from inside the hotel, you have to cross the courtyard - over renovated chateau, not much of the original feeling was preserved, but I guess that's more a personal taste feeling

Beautiful area, lovely rooms and excellent and very attentive service, including nice little extras in the room. Excellent dinner and great breakfast. The spa area is a little small but nice. It’s a little expensive but we (4 adults, 4 kids) had a great time.

For me not 5 star worth! They need to work on a lot. In a 5 star hotel service needs to be impeccable and wasn’t. I really thought i was in good hands to celebrate my birthday but there were some flaws.

I experienced an absolutely enchanting weekend at Château de Vignée. The restaurant treated us to a mesmerizing 8-course dinner, undoubtedly the pinnacle of our culinary experiences. What heightened the magic was the wine cellar adorned with 250 candles and roses, creating the perfect ambiance for me to propose to my wife. This special moment was impeccably facilitated by the dedicated staff and management of Château de Vignée. Our gratitude knows no bounds. Every detail was meticulously planned; both managers and the head chef were present during the proposal, capturing the moment on film to share with us later. The hotel generously upgraded us to a junior suite, where our belongings were elegantly arranged, and two roses adorned our bed. Even during breakfast the next day, the staff congratulated us with champagne, adding to the overall charm. Our stay transcended mere memorability; we've never felt as cherished and valued in our relationship. The exceptional hospitality and service from the highly skilled staff make Château de Vignée a heartfelt recommendation for anyone seeking an unforgettable experience. Five stars fall short in capturing the true magic of our time there. I remain profoundly grateful to the staff and management whose dedication made the proposal uniquely special—an experience I could not have achieved without them.
