Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious dinner and very comfortable. Sad not to stay longer.

Staff of hotel and restaurant are going above and beyond to make your stay memorable. The bib gourmand kitchen is great. Do not stay here without booking a lunch or dinner reservation too! Love the peace and quiet of this destination. Walking or biking right from the hotel. Some room fixtures could use a bit of tlc, but that is minor. The interior decoration of the hotel living room and restaurant is very 'warm' and classy, cosy too.

The satisfaction of the guests is of paramount importance! Staff is very friendly. Ambiance is fine. Very quietly located in the woods. As far as we are concerned, a small fridge in the room would be nice. De Uitkijk is located in a beautiful area. Be sure to read the information folder that is in the room. There are a number of nice tips regarding activities in the area.

Simply excellent - staff, rooms, facilities, and food! Could not ask for a better option! The staff had my room ready and even provided laundry service that I desperately needed after hiking for a few days. The restaurant was 5-star on every respect. Food was amazing, as well as the wine selection and the delightful staff. Definitely recommended!

We enjoyed the great location. The hotel is located in the woods that are part of the beautiful 'Sallandse Heuvelrug'. Great for hikers and cyclists. Wonderful staff. Very good (Michelin) restaurant. Rooms are very comfortable.

went for our anniversary and booked the culinairy arrengement. What a kind and friendly staff t de Uitkijk and the food was perfect! The wines fitted greatly with the courses. The room was very spacyous. The shower in the bathroom was perfect!

everytime we think it cannot be better and every time de Uitkijk proves us wrong. Fantastic , very good food, nice helpfull people, extreme quite and nice ambiance in other words... donot tell too many people because it might get overbooked.

Our party was perfectly arranged, deliciieus food and realy helpfull staff; GREAT!! The enviroment is also perfect, also fine hotel facilities, in short, the best place to be. BBq is there brought to a next level.

As a group of ten men we were made to feel completely at home and at ease by the very friendly and professional staff. The atmosphere of the hotel, set in the middel of the woods, is congenial and luxurious at the same time, the food and the wines are excellent, the rooms both cosy and comfortable. We played at three lovely golf courses, each less than a 30 minutes drive away, and each with its own character.
