St Clair Inn and Suites

There is nothing good about this place. How has it not been condemned and shut down? Booked on Priceline and the owner made us pay more to stay. Refused a refund. The old front desk clerk was also rude. Neither would give us a receipt. Once in the room it wasn’t long before we noticed cockroaches everywhere. Crawling on the refrigerator. In the bathroom. We reported and they gave us a spray can to spray them. Guests were being refused clean towels. Needless to say we left and went to Fairfield Inn and Suites. Shouldn’t the Health Department do something about this? The breakfast consists of stale cereal. Pictures on here are very old and not offered. Would not recommend this nightmare experience

Roaches. Horrible employees at the front desk. Stale food cereal in the lobby. How does this place stay open? I felt I was being watched through the mirror in the room. The creepy owner makes sexual comments that make you feel dirty. The old man at the front desk won’t give you a receipt when you pay. I was in my room for 10 minutes and saw roaches scurrying around everywhere. I left and went to the Fairfield Inn. Will never go back.

My husband and I came in to visit family on a last minute decision, we were running on 3 hours of sleep and all the other surrounding hotels were booked up, and for good reason.. The check in was pretty smooth and the clerk was really nice, we go to the room, and it was full of someone else’s things!!! Thankfully no one was there so I run back up to the front desk to inform him that the room he gave us was taken and I needed a new room right away… He then blames it on the previous employee that they didn’t inform him that the room was taken and went down the hall to look for an empty room… He comes back gets us a new card and takes us to the new room. Everything seemed okay at first, but after quickly inspecting everything we noticed none of the counter tops had been wiped off and there was what seemed like salt just scattered on the desk top.. Weary of everything but being absolutely exhausted we just wanted to lay down and finally rest. Second issue we came across was the toilet leaked and didn’t flush properly, which was just a huge annoyance. We finally go to lay down and My husband goes to adjust his pillow and there is a mummified cricket under his pillow!!! We wanted to leave but we were so exhausted we decided to make due… So we ripped the rest of the bedding off and had to lay on the bed with no blankets or pillows, the bed was so uncomfortable… After a horrible night of tossing and turning I felt so filthy and was hoping we could just shower and leave.. Again, nope.. Turned on the water and it came out BROWN with dead bugs in the water… It made my sick… about that time my husband informed me that he found more gross things around the room, from full on spiders nest, beer tabs shoved into the ac/heating unit and Cob webs streaming from all the lights… At this point it’s 6am and I’ve just had enough and we got dressed and went to check out, we didn’t even get to properly do that! Got up to the front desk and the employee was asleep in a chair in the back office, not even up at the desk. I just threw our room card on the desk and left. I would have much rather to sleep in my car then have to deal with any of that again. Do not recommend this hotel for absolutely anyone…

I arrived and the room type i booked was not available. The receptionist staff was accommodating and found a solution. Then the owner came in and INSISTED I give back the room key and go to a different room and since i didnt want the front desk staff to get in trouble i obliged thinking he would give me the correct room. I booked a queen bed as I was driving for 9 hrs, was going to be driving another 7 the next day and needed a good sleep so I can be rested for the road the bed was all i cared about. He put me in a room with a double bed and when I went back to request what I booked he basically short of called me a liar by saying and I quote "all hotels have queen beds it's a queen bed". Which it wasn't! It's common knowledge the hotels have different size beds and he was EXTREMELY disrespectful and an outright liar. It was 2am in a state I have never been and he told me if i didn't like it I could go somewhere else. When I went in the room to sleep ( with the double bed) I could hear him yelling at the front desk staff at the top of his lungs for quite a while. I called down asking them to stop yelling... he didn't he continued to verbally abuse his staff. I had to turn on the TV to drown out the yelling and slept with my feet hanging off the bed because it was too small.

I booked online for 4 people for 4 days.I get there and get charged again then I get charged for 2 people again per day then there are live and dead roaches in and on the fridge and desk worker cussed me out when I asked for a manager and refused to get me one then hung up on me there are live and dead potato bugs in the lobby worker harassed my 17 and 14 yr old girls then claimed I was there for two days but have proof I was there for 12 hrs and charged me another two days on top of the four I prepaid for them refused to give me a refund and told my minor children how I wasn’t nice but yet HE cussed ME out for refusing to pay additional charges and then he lied to ******* about my complaints and about the bugs and how long I was there but I have proof DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!!

Do not go here it’s the wrest hotel ever they charge you to change rooms they kept asking for money instead of giving me my original room back. There was no breakfast at all if you love cereal and plain waffles . Dead bugs were sitting on the windows. The house keeper was very nice though she made sure that we had what we need. They didn’t give us enough towels and no wash clothes. Hote was so out of date the have a mirror as the back board of your bed. The heater never worked outdated. Our door to the room didn’t want to shut properly or lock . Refused to give me the room I choose. They want you to feel out a registration form. Keep asking for money . They feed a cat outside
