Stayed with my husband on the All inclusive deal. Food was amazing. Lovely service, all staff are super friendly. Holly on reception was so welcoming and explained the deal to us. Emily and Joe were so helpful and friendly down in the restaurant. A young girl who was working was also very friendly (sorry forgot her name). Gardens are so beautiful and we will definitely be returning. Thank you Trapp team!!

Me and my husband got married on the 10.05.24 at the beautiful HigherTrapp Hotel. It really was the most amazing day. The food was absolutely outstanding! The staff couldn’t have done any more for us and our guests they went above & beyond. I would like to thank Kerris & Megan for helping us plan out our special day, exceeding all our expectations. Emily our wedding coordinator for the day, you went above and beyond for us both and for that we’re truly grateful. Our day ran so smoothly so thankyou once again Emily. Me and my husband got married on the 30.05.24 at the beautiful Highertrapp hotel. It really was the most amazing day. The food was delicious and The staff there was outstanding from the moment we checked in until check out. I would like to personally thank our wedding planners kerris and Megan. They helped plan out our day perfectly, exceeding our expectations. Also, to our wedding coordinator for the day Emily. You helped our day run so smoothly. We can't thank you all enough! Very limited menu. First night I upgraded I had the goat cheese tartlet the pastry was rock hard. My Husband had soup .We tried to order a up grade meal of The Slow cooked minted Lamb shank. The waitress said they had run out . So I had Chicken breast ,hubby had Gammon.. The Breakfast the next morning was Applying the beans were dried out and stuck to the plate ,bacon was over cooked the fried egg was solid.The sausage was the only thing that saved it Second night we asked for the Lamb and was told that chief was changing the menu and was not getting any more Lamb.The rag pudding,the Braised Blade of Beef were off the menu . Other people that had been staying longer said that the Lamb had not been served at all . And the Breakfast the next morning was a bit better I just had sausage . The Hotel absolutely gorgeous the staff are very friendly, the gowns are lovely it's just the Food the let's it down.

We had our wedding here a few days ago. Honestly everything was incredible!! The staff couldn’t do enough from us, from when we booked to the whole day. Everyone at the wedding just adored the hotel and the scenery. Kerris, Megan and Sheila, absolute gems. Couldn’t recommend the hotel enough! Amazing. Gave us the wedding of our dreams. Organised everything. Thank you.

We got Married here 10 years ago 2014, we renewed our Vows in the same place exactly 10 years later. This hotel is a dream. I would like to personally give a shout out to Jamie and Megan. With out this two humans the day couldn’t have been as special as it was.I would highly recommend this venue. It’s 10/10 from The Bennetts. Thank you for everything.

My partner and I ate in Fitzys bar and were looked after by the lovely Sheila and her staff. Nothing was too much trouble. We loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and the menu was very good with lots of choice. We had such a fab time and will be back!

We were out for a walk in the area and thought we’d pop in for a meal. It was super busy but Sheila managed to get us a table and we had a lovely meal. Sheila was so helpful and friendly and we had a lovely time. The hotel and grounds are fabulous. We’ll definitely be back when we’re in the area.

Stayed over one night whilst working away. Very friendly attentive staff from reception to bar/restaurant staff. Rooms nice enough. Beautiful gardens. Ate in the restaurant which was very busy for a Wednesday night. My meal, sea bass wasn’t the best - would stay here again if in the area but would eat elsewhere.
