The hotel is clean and well maintained and the staff are helpful and friendly. We didn't eat in the bar so I can't comment on the food but it looked good and plentiful if a little overpriced! Be aware though that almost EVERYTHING is an extra so budget quite a bit more if you want to use sunbeds, air conditioning or wifi. We didn't as the costs were outrageous. We had a Superior Studio apartment and the beds were very comfortable and the room cleaned daily. We didn't find any of the 'complimentary' toiletries which they advertise although we had a lovely but empty liquid soap dispenser! The shower is really good and would be better if the shower screen had been bigger. They do supply a squeegee for you to remove all the water that sprays all over the bathroom floor. The shower has a fixed head and can't be adjusted and there is a switchable hand shower head for squirting your 'bits'. A good hair dryer is provided. The biggest deal-breaker for us was that in no way was it a fully equipped self-catering apartment. There is NO KETTLE, NO TOASTER and very little of anything else in the way of kitchen equipment. A coffee peculator is provided which is useless (and I stress useless) for making tea. If you want to self-cater, the very reason we booked this hotel, don't bother booking here. You will be very disappointed. If you want to eat out there are many very good restaurants within very short walking distance. You'll be lucky to get breakfast before 10:30 AM though. If you are a light sleeper then think about what it would be like sleeping within one meter of your fridge compressor turning on and off all night long. The balcony is far from private and ours had only a view of an orange tree which was sprayed with chemicals (I assume) every couple of days! It was right next to the walkway to all the other apartments which is great if you want to meet everyone while you're trying to eat your boiled egg and no toast breakfast washed down with lukewarm tea! All in all we had a great time in Rhodes and this hotel could so easily be made to be perfect but sadly I really think they are more interested in taking money than providing a comfortable self-catering holiday experience. Still gave them an above average score though for all the good reasons stated above but we won't be staying there again for all the many bad reasons. Be sure to check out the Royal bar just round the corner. The food is wonderful, the owner and staff are fantastic and the prices reasonable. A bit further on is the San Allotte restaurant which is equally good (maybe better) but more expensive.

We booked a 5 day holiday in rhodes town, which included, flights, transfers and accommodation at the City Plus Hotel We knew it was a 2star and thats fine , we loved the location and surrounding area Bering in mind its only a 2 Star and we were very pleased with the room , comfortable beds ,not soft , quite firm , perfect Breakfast was not included, so that was extra €9 and have to say it was Lovely, something for everyone, even bacon eggs and sausage The jewel in the crown are the staff A family run establishment and we arrived as guests but left as friends Especially Jannis and Thassos Thank you so very much for making our little holiday , a wonderful experience and we will definitely return Paul an Dave

Stayed here at the beginning of October as a solo female traveller and had a great stay, where I felt safe and welcomed. I don’t understand the negative reviews, these are family run, authentic Greek apartments and don’t advertise themselves otherwise. Agreed it’s not the Ritz, but you don’t pay Ritz money to stay here 😊. The whole complex is spotless, my room was cleaned every day, towels & bedding changed regularly, and an abundance of toilet rolls left. The staff are great, will just leave you to it, but there if you need them…..perfect. I had an issue with my kettle shorting the electrics which was remedied straight away. I asked for more bedding and was given this without question. I utilised the fridge and cooking facilities in my room every day, and managed to cobble together a few meals. Due to the amount of walking I did, I only used Charlie’s shuttle once during my trip but it’s a great service running at 11am/5pm/8pm. As a Hillside guest, you get 10% off a couple of restaurants near the drop off/pick up site. I had a Gyros meal at Eat Greek which was ok. The pool area is lovely with plenty of loungers and there are towels for you to use which is a nice touch. The walk to a supermarket is 0.7 miles and takes around 12 minutes dependant on ability. They will give you a lift back if you spend over 50 Euros. It is then only a few more minutes walk to the main beach and Faliraki centre. I beach hopped each day with the walk to Anthony Quinn Bay being exactly 3 miles and took around 58 minutes. I can recommend ‘Golden Hands’ for a massage, hotel collection and drop off which was included in the price: full body masssge, 35 Euros. I also went zip lining which was good, again, hotel pick up and drop off included in the 15 Euro price. I had trouble finding a quad biking trip for under 150 Euros but that may be due to end of season limited availability. All in all, a great holiday with lovely weather in the low 30’s and where I felt safe as a solo female traveller. Thank you Hillside, I will definately be back 😊

The hotel is situated in the centre of the new town area close to harbour and lots restaurants and bars. It is within easy walking distance of bus station and rhodes old town. The room are basic but nice. Its a family run hotel and the father manager made us feel welcome. The breakfast is basic but then the price for hotel is cheap. I was more than happy with everything about hotel. Downside is street noise but is is situated in busy area. For the money paid its well worth it and I would not think twice about returning. If you are looking for cheap hotel with basic breakfast located close to everything then check out price.

HP가 있었지만 아침 식사 만 먹었습니다. 아침 식사는 매우 불쾌하고 매일 동일합니다. 파우더 커피만 있었습니다. 그래서 차를 마셨습니다. 공기/따뜻함이 없는 조식당이라 더위가 쾌적하지 않습니다. 모든 곳이 깨끗하고 친절한 직원을 유지합니다. 전반적으로 가격과 훌륭한 위치에서 집을 추천 할 수 있습니다.

우리는 2024년에 첫 번째 손님이 될 만큼 운이 좋았습니다. 팀의 멋진 인사로 왕족처럼 대우 받았지만 곧 다른 손님들도 특별한 트리엔트를 받았다는 것을 깨달았습니다! 그들은 특히 우리가 늦은 점심을 먹기 위해 문을 열었고 우리는 우리가 좋은 손에 있다는 것을 즉시 알았습니다. 우리는 어린 성인 자녀와 그들의 파트너와 함께 방문했으며 휴가는 기억에 오래 살 것입니다. 우리가 도착한 날 딸은 18살이었고 그녀의 방에 케이크가 남았습니다. 우리 모두에게 제공되는 와인과 과일과 함께 갈 또 다른 사랑스러운 터치. 마을은 거의 열리지 않아 호텔에 의존했지만 음식 선택이 너무 많아서 영향이 제한적이었습니다. 우리는 또한 바에서 일주일 내내 훌륭했고 훌륭한 대화와 추천으로 훌륭한 George 덕분에 저녁에 축구를 볼 수 있었습니다. 아들과 나는 현지 축구에 대해 이야기하고 금이 간 경기를 본 후 Diagoras Rodas를 보러 모험을 했습니다. 해변까지 걸어가서 돌을 긁고 영광스러운 햇살을 즐기는 버기도 타는 것도 좋았습니다. 우리는 버스나 택시를 통해 Lindos, Rhodes 및 환상적인 지역 해변 등을 방문하여 대부분의 날 외출했지만 수영, 탁구를 하고 맥주와 함께 수영장 옆에서 휴식을 취하는 경향이 있었습니다. 우리는 함께 먹는 일상이 마음에 들었고 매일 많은 선택이있었습니다. 모든 것이 너무 빨리 끝났습니다. 우리가 정말로 부정적인 것을 가지고 있는지 확실하지 않습니다. 나는 공예품과 같은 에일을 사용할 수 있고 아마도 바에서 배경 음악을 바꿀 수 있기를 원했지만 칵테일의 독창성으로 인해 아마도 너무 까다 롭습니다. 우리가 3 개의 방을 지불했을 때 관광 세를 적용하는 그리스 정부도 약간 어졌지만 우리 둘만 있었다면 좋았을 것입니다. 전반적으로, 아마도 우리의 마지막 가족 휴가를 특별하게 만들어 주셔서 감사합니다.

I've just returned from an amazing week long stay at the gorgeous Mayia Resort and what a wonderful stay I had. It was my best friend's birthday whilst we were there and we arrived at our room to see a delicious cake and some chocolates waiting for us. I had emailed the hotel before our stay asking about this and they were incredibly quick to reply and very helpful in arranging this for us. The hotel itself is in a great location and really does have some of the best views I've seen whilst on holiday. The staff are all incredibly welcoming, friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. We felt very well looked after during our time here and I want to thank all the staff at the Mayia for making our stay extra special. It's clear to see how hard everyone works and it's truly appreciated. The food was delicious, a particular highlight was the Greek restaurant which we went to for lunch on our last day. I must also mention the street food corner and the beach bar. The food at both of these options were amazing for lunch and the service was equally amazing. There is a lovely shop at the hotel too which has wonderful gifts. The cocktails were exceptional and service at the pool, main and beach bar was excellent. The room was comfortable and definitely large enough for the two of us, the mini bar was restocked daily too which was brilliant. There is nightly entertainment which is fantastic and a lovely addition to the evenings. The hotel was the perfect place for a relaxing holiday where I could really switch off from everyday life but you can also easily get the bus into Lindos for the day if you'd like or you can access other excursions if you wish. This is the first time I can genuinely say I want to return to a hotel and would come back as soon as possible. Rhodes itself is a beautiful island packed with lots to do and see and the Mayia is a stunning hotel. If I could come back next week, I would. I'm sure I've missed out many more positives in this review but I highly recommend the Mayia Resort and I really want to express my u**ost thanks to everyone who works at the resort.
