서니 데이즈 호텔(Sunny Days Hotel)

Our stay at Sunny Days Apartments in Ialysos was fantastic. The outdoor pool area and adjacent playground kept the kids entertained, while the clean and comfortable rooms with kitchenettes provided everything we needed. The views from the balcony were stunning, and the on-site amenities, including barbecue facilities and a snack bar serving Greek cuisine, added to the experience. Highly recommend for families looking for a great stay in Ialysos.

We booked a self-catering appartement in block four for 9 nights, with our room situated on the ground floor. There were pros and cons, but overall we felt that the cons outweighed the pros. Pros: - Very friendly staff at the bar near the swimming pool. Savoula was great and really made sure that the quality of service was high. - Overall, the hotel was clean - Generally, the hotel is in a good location for people who wish to visit Rhodes city as it is close to a busstop. Cons: -The air conditioning was an additional €8 per DAY, which was not communicated clearly by Sunweb who we booked the room with. The air conditioning itself was noisy and only worked between 16-19 °C. Either that, or it resorted back to 29 °C. We tried without it for a few nights but slept poorly. Sunweb eventually agreed to pay the cost as they agreed the communication could be construed as confusing. -Shampoo and body wash were not replenished by the cleaners, nor was the handwash on the wall by the sink. -The key card stopped working on ~ day 5 and we had to get a key to open it manually until we checked out. - Various bits in the bathroom need repairing. - As we *****ped the beds of the covers we used on the last day as a courtesy to the cleaners, we inadvertantly uncovered a stain on one of the pillows which we hope was chocolate (?). -Our room had a view of a fence and the laundry room which was noisy and woke us up in the morning. Equally, as the rooms are close to the swimming pool, noise from cleaning, moving sunbeds etc. early in the morning and loud music from the pool in the evening also do not help. - Finally, washing up liquid and a tea towels are not included. We feel it unreasonable to expect guests to bring these along on their flights. Washing-up liquid can be bought from one of the local supermarkets. When we gave this feedback at check-out, it was suggested we should have conveyed this list of suggestions earlier. However, upon further reflection we concluded that all apart from the malfunctioning thermostat in the airconditioning either were known or should have been known by the hotel given that cleaning staff interact daily with: cleaning provisions, the bathroom, and the bedding.

Pro: -Friendly staff -Good air condition ( block 2) -Good free internet connection ( block 2) Cons: -Food is terrible, not fresh at all, sometimes cold in the evening, even if you come at 6:30 to the dinner. -Re-used food from previous days ( don't how many days the recycle the food) sometime the pancakes where half soft, half hard as a stone. -Bread in the morning were hard as a stone, not fresh at all, very little selection on the buffet. - The meat for dinner were always super dry, and the fried fish was cold - a lot of flys sitting on the food - the bedrooms were not properly clean at all, is was dust everywhere from the phone in the bathroom to the bed tables, bed frame. ( please see Photos) - The mattresses where extremely dirty, full os stains ( please see Photos) - Sometime they just empty the trash and thats all. - The shower drain was completely clogged and the water came out and flooded the bathroom ( even if the room was newly renovated) Summary: The hotel is not even worth one star, and we will never ever go to this hotel again. The beach is hard to reach, is more than 100 meters

The rooms are standard but very clean, a great size and comfortable. The air con in the room is quite noisy but still does the job. The pool is a good size, very clean and good lounge chairs available, with a nice pool bar which offers a good variety of drinks and food! The service has been good whilst here, cannot fault this. We booked just breakfast with our stay and the only down side for me is the breakfast as I don’t think there is enough variety and some of it wasn’t the best, but that is my personal preference as my partner enjoyed the breakfast. ☺️

I enjoyed every single second of my experience here! Booked a holiday very last minute and had never stayed in Ixia before, and choosing this hotel was the best choice we made. Room sizes are amazing, with 2 balconies, a kitchen and a living room it was extremely spacious. The food was lovely, as well as the staff. An extra special thank you to George and Eleutheria at the Pool bar who made our stay even better, going above and beyond for us and being so kind and helpful!! The hotel is extremely close to a wide variety of great restaurants,bars and shops as well as the beach. Bus stops right outside which is convenient for travel to Rhodes centre. Honestly, couldn’t have asked for a better holiday here, and will be staying here again when we come back to Ixia.

This gorgeous 4 star hotel saved our holiday and saved us losing on so much money! We arrived in rhodes on Thursday and arrived at a different hotel. Were very unhappy with our room. We decided to look for hotels closer to Rhodes Town and came across this place. We decided to book it and when we arrived and saw our room it was outstanding. We ordered a junior suite which is a little more but it was worth every penny and the view was amazing considering how little time we gave them to prepare for our arrival! The staff were really lovely and helped us with any issues we had! Food was amazing and the pool was a really good size! It’s a nice relaxing place to be if you don’t want to be anywhere with too many loud brash Englishmen. We are really sad to be leaving but will make sure to return to this hotel if we ever return to Rhodes again! We would also like to personally thank the lady at reception with blonde hair (I’m so sorry I forgot her name) who was there when we checked in and was so welcoming and friendly to us our entire stay!

We stayed at the hotel before some days. We enjoyed a complete experience! Nice food(A La Carte and buffet), beautiful pool area, the room was cozy and the staff was too kind showing us the Greek hospitality. It was an excellent choice!!!

This is my second time coming to sunny days, the hotel and the rooms are very nice and very clean. The staff are very friendly and treat you very well. Also the location is unreal, its very close to rhodes town and only takes 10 minutes to get there in a taxi. I would highly recommend to stay here and I would definitely come back here again, it is also suitable for familys and young children too.

The location is very good, very close to the beach, the service is very good and the food is very nice, the room has lots of space and the ac is always on, very good manager and the hotel has lots of facilities it’s also kept very clean
