After a perfect holiday at the Electra Palace last year in August, we could not resist going back and seeing what they have done renovations wise. It did not disappoint, even better! The pool, pool bar, and entrainment were brilliant and massively improved, I really enjoyed the 60'/70's rock and toll band, please keto them gor next year!. The food, especially the Greek restaurant, was great. Big shout out to Anglina and Billy at the pool bar, who were great and nice to the children, who kept on asking for ice cubes. The new rooms were fab, double balcony great inside, and now if you want to chill, you can cast Netflicks for the kids. Look forward yo seeing what yhere might do this close season. We shall be back next October. My daughter says it'd her happy place this hotel, enough said. It was great you could ha e a toom for 40 minutes in the evening yo freshen up and shower before the flights back home. Thanks to everyone at the hotel for more great memories.

Just returned from a week there Was welcomed on arrival by the friendly reception staff Then went to own room in the new part of the hotel,Room 2211 On entering the room, the TV had our name on it Nice touch Room was beautiful with a lovely view of the pool The pool had Luvly beds in the pool But if you want one of these Then welcome to the 4.45am club The restaurant was lovely outside The staff work tirelessly I think they need more staff at time Can be chaotic at peak times The Greek in the Italian à la carte were amazing The food was beautiful and the service was excellent We took a trip to Symi through TUI and a trip to the old town through the hotel Go early because it gets hot later on The wine bar evening is excellent Lots of wines to choose and the service is excellent I can’t say enough about this hotel Can’t wait to go back

We were lucky enough to have booked the Electra Palace, which had a new family block (we were 3 (Mum & Dad & teenage Son) so stayed in there, and all was newly refurbished. New rooms, decor, beds, bathrooms, hot water at all times, decor, sunbeds, crockery and cutlery and dining areas. You could tell that the staff absolutely love working there as they clearly loved their jobs and were very friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious, we tried the Italian for lunch and dinner, and also the Greek restaurant one night as well as the buffet. Stunning presentation and all food tasted as good as it looked! Not often you can say that on an all inclusive! Costas was amazing as the restaurant manager as was Angelina, Billy & all the new bar staff that started whilst we were there last week, we miss you all! The lovely lady who booked my macrame and cookery lessons at the hotel also! They were both fab! She printed off recipes for me as an extra for typical Greek dishes, and Angela-Marie doing the macrame was so so patient and friendly, Angela, I will definitely try this again at home, thank you! All spirits behind the bar were named, which was a refreshing change, and all entertainment very good including authentic Greek dancing and great singers & bands. Poolside aerobics, darts, games, all going on in the day too. Beautiful new rooms with dressing gowns, slippers, pool towels & tea & coffee making facilities (the coffee at breakfast and in the Patiserie was amazing!!) The only gripe I had was that we saw people putting out towels on the huge double beds in the pool and sunbeds at 11 pm at night for the next day. It got my goat so I became the pool vigilante and went and removed them. Not fair, if we have to get up at 7 am for a sunbed, why not everyone else!? Plump brand new beanbags and day beds by the pool, and a huge seating area near the scrumptious patisserie, a lovely area to chill in whilst reading a book etc. Would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone I know, and would definitely stay again...although by the looks of it, it may be fully booked! If you've booked already, you enjoy!! Also fantastic regular Hotel taxi trips to the New and Old Town, these guys are just brilliant and deserve your tips! So patient and accomdating to families with buggies and wheelchairs etc. An all round fantastic experience, we class ourselves as being so very blessed to have stayed here! We miss you, and you're wonderful customer service!!

Arrived on 23 July, to stay 7 nights as we got married on 29 July at Kalithea.. so we brought 38 friends / family to stay at the hotel.. we felt the pressure and hoped it would be okay.. Sadly, The Electra should not be 5* as stated by TUI - I was disappointed in many ways. The basics were there but it should be 3* max. All staff, except Larry (in the reception bar) & our maid (that cleaned room 278) were rude and couldn’t care less if you needed anything. One occasion in the outside bar on the terrace, a small group of us waited over 30 minutes for a drink that we ordered from the waitress, when we asked her where they were , she said ‘not my problem’ and that she should have gone home 10 minutes ago..! So we went and got our own.. Trying to order taxis at reception.. we were told 5-10 minutes (we had a reservation in Rhodes town for my hen party), after 25 minutes - still no taxi.. again, not their problem / no update. On the day of the wedding, the bridal party started getting ready at 12.30 in our room (didn’t want to be seen by the men & were trying to stay cool) . So we missed Lunch & phoned reception to asked if there was any chance they could bring up some food / soft drinks .. we were charged full price despite explaining the situation (just one floor down would all have been included / free) Despite emailing ahead telling the hotel we were bringing all these people out for the wedding .. not a single gesture / recognition the whole time .. apart from a couple of receptionists clapped as I walked down in my wedding dress. Our junior suite was fine but our bathroom was the worst out of all our guests - brown and very aged .. no wonder no pictures of the bathrooms when you book. Air conditioning- very weak all over the hotel Paper cups by the pool & not being able to get a bottle of water without paying.. very odd for 5* hotel No water or paper towels available in the gym and one out of the 2 treadmills didn’t work Buffet was so crowded at times, not relaxing Food in the Asian restaurant & the Mediterranean grill were my favourites - the gyros were incredible I did enjoy the live music in the terrace bar on the evenings The shop by the pool was reasonably priced & well stocked I will not return nor recommend.. it was the fact I was surrounded by loved ones in the run up to the wedding that made it

We stayed at Electra Palace for almost a week, from the moment we got in we were welcomed by a great smile, one of the rooms was already prepared and they immediately handed us the key the othet one was ready 10 minutes before the official check in time During our stay, fires started in the island of Rodos making electrical problems for the hotel, but the generators worked immediately! One time at the italian restaurant had an electrical shortage and about 100 guests were moved to the main restaurant, in less than two minutes the staff of the dinning room seated everyone with a great smile and a sincere apology for the inconvenience, it wasnt an inconvenience it was a proof that the staff is well trained Panagiotis the dinning room captin took care of everything, Angelica at the bar by the pool always smiling and preparing excellent drinks The housekeeper on the second floor was amazing, always ready to help The shuttle to the old/new town and back is in a well equipped bus, bright clean and Phillipi the driver is very calm and cautious driver Stavros, Petros and all the reception desk staff were always ready to provide recommendations Long story short: worth visiting, will be back

A lot of things to do inside the hotel ! The food is delicious! The rooms clean and the beds super comfortable! All inclusive hotel with amazing amenities! Love the gym and the activities at the pool, after that go to the beach of the hotel for swim and relax!

My boyfriend and I were very excited about booking the electra palace after doing a good bit of research and seeing the great reviews from 2022. This however was ruined completely following the first review from the 2023 season exposing the hotel as completely unfinished it’s “renovation” which wasn’t advertised when originally booked. After arguing numerous times with Jet2 and being told different dates each time I called for the renovations to be completed, they assured me the renovations were “only cosmetic” however reviews again were exposing this day by day. I was very apprehensive as this hotel is not cheap as it is advertised as 4.5* and has everything you could possibly imagine. We were told by Jet2 we had to just go and see what it was like, no help offered which was shocking and put a grey cloud over the excitement of your summer holiday. In the days running up to our departure, the reviews did start to improve. Most saying the same thing of it being a lovely hotel however not everything was available. We felt a bit better about going as it seemed it was no longer a “construction site” as previously reviewed. We arrived to the hotel around 11.30pm on Monday 5th June. The transfer was lovely and quick only about 30 minutes all in including the other stops beforehand which was great! As we pulled up the hotel was beautiful, you can tell it is a newer hotel and everything looked immaculate. Our worries we’re slowly being subdued. The only thing we both noticed at first glance which was negative was the hotel was absolutely dead, barely any guests out, no music or atmosphere but we let this slide due to being late on a Monday. The staff at check in were so lovely and welcomed us warmly. We were a bit confused at first as not given a wristband or anything for all inclusive plus like other hotels, when we later asked - the hotel is fully all inclusive so you use your room number as your pass. All of the staff were great and hard working however you were given no information off the bat, you had to seek every answer yourself, which is disappointing and confusing for such a big new hotel. We were given room 1201 - AVOID. This room is right next door to the cleaners cupboard who think it’s okay to get up in the morning and shout and laugh with each other from 6.30am onwards and bang about like there’s no tomorrow. The hotel room walls are paper thin, you can hear everything, this is the noisiest hotel room I have ever stayed in. I don’t know if other rooms are better but you can hear everything in the halls and anyone moving above. You also hear a plane fly overhead every 20 minutes with this hotel due to its positioning, very very loud and scared me the first time I heard it. At first the rooms are so modern, well set out and very clean. We were more than happy and were very grateful for a modern tv to allow tv casting for netflix, spotify etc which is a great touch! This was our second visit to this hotel and the pool area is great and very relaxing the new layout of everything works well, it will be interesting to see the new changes next year, the staff were brilliant and always helpful.
