Ideal location just outside old town and short walk to all the restaurants and bars for the evening. Far enough away to be away from the hustle and bustle. Amazing pool and impressive breakfast spread! Friendly staff and comfy bed. Really made my 4 days in Rhodes special!

A gem of a hotel, great location, staff, food, facilities and cocktails! The staff could not have been more attentive from the doorman to the manager, a special mention for Joanne. Would definitely recommend this hotel no complaints whatsoever.

I contacted Popi on reception to see if myself and a friend could utilise the facilities for a day at the end of our holiday in the medieval part of town for a change of scenery. Along the staff were so helpful and friendly. Lovely hotel and fab lunch and drinks.

The hotel pool area and staff are amazing, perfect location right in the heart of the city. However room 127 is in need of some attention having had to have the fridge replaced and a card lighting system that continues to throw errors, along with the the air conditioning system sounds like an aircraft taking off. Breakfast was average without any flair at all, having spent a lot of money for 4 nights we certainly expected much more choice. In the hotels defence we where offered a room change, but with only a day and hlaf left felt the move and repacking just wasnt worth the hassle. We chose this hotel on past reviews and having visited it after a previous hotel move, sadly we wouldn't wish to come back to this hotel as just not to the standard of the 'Small Hotels of the World" group we've experienced in the past. The roof top bar and staff are amazing however, just wished and hoped we could have given this hotel a 5 star as planned.

Pool area smells terrible thought out the day, ~ 40sunbeds (half in the shade half the day), inconsistent room cleaning/ turndown, poor aircon (only let you have it on 21 until you complain and then they let you have it on 18, but room still hot), room small & damp smell, pool not open till 10 and lifeguard often late, cold shower some mornings, lift continues to move even when doors open, raised pumps on bottom of pool, doesn’t seem to be aircon in room corridors, tap water occasionally smelled of egg. However close to beach & old town, good cocktails, friendly staff, received cake on my birthday, ok breakfast but lots of flies.

This hotel is of a decent standard and is very clean. The hotel staff are very welcoming and are happy to help in any way they can. The rooms are clean with large comfortable beds and have a good level of amenities including a fridge. However, there wasn’t an iron which I would expect a 5 star hotel to have. The location is the reason we booked this hotel. It’s a 5 minute walk to the shopping area and a 5 minute walk to the old town. The beach is about 10 minutes away. Unfortunately we found the breakfast to be a little underwhelming. Whilst there’s quite a bit of choice, there are no options to have something freshly cooked if you want a cooked breakfast. The sausages were dry, the scrambled egg was runny, so wouldn’t have been to everyone’s liking, and the bacon looked like ham! There was only one toaster that held 6 pieces of bread but when you put bread in, it pushed down other slots so others were constantly pulling the bread up and down to remove and put bread in. For a hotel this size and as a 5 star, it should have had at least two toasters and they shouldn’t have been the kind of toaster you get in a kitchen at home. They needed the proper restaurant style conveyor toasters to speed this process up. Also, the jams on tables were never replaced. Opened mini pots of jam and honey were placed back in condiments on the table when tables were cleared. We had no idea why or how long they’d been opened for and placed back. Any opened pots should have been replaced with new condiments each time, as we didn’t want to use pots others had already used! The pool area and bars were nicely kept, however there was a lack of sun beds around the pool area, and sun bed hogging was rife. Many people put towels on sun beds and walked off reserving them for when they returned. There was also the smell of drains around the pool which made it unpleasant. The pool attendant was very helpful though and tried his best to locate sun beds for guests. With a few improvements this hotel could be better, but I don’t think from my experience it warrants 5 Stars.

This is the first review i have ever written ..our stay has been a joy, the hotel is a short walk from the old town which is just beautiful , so much to see the hotel itself is lovely,the staff and management are so welcoming and can't do enough. The pool restaurant in the evening serve's the most delicious food ,the steak we had was the best i have had .We have eaten in , Nomad,Mezzaluna and Paneri, all very good places to eat but the food here was as good or better.,this has been such a lovely stay if you are thinking of coming to Rhodes this hotel should be on your list.

The hotel itself is lovely. The bed was large and very comfortable, and everyone we dealt with was brilliant, providing an excellent service. The hotel has a brilliant location, just on the edge of the old town, in walking distance to everything. Points are knocked off for the breakfast, which we found underwhelming, with lots of the same on offer and nothing of the best quality, the room being quite small, but mainly for the pool. It was one of the main reasons we booked the hotel, but we found it unusable. Firstly, it opens at 10am, and people would sit on the sunbeds fully clothed to reserve them in the hour before, and then as soon as towels were available at 10am they would put them down. George, the lifeguard, was brilliant at finding you beds, but it’s also not the most pleasant to sit around, due to a really fowl smelling drain on the road outside of the hotel next to the pool. It’s just not the vibe we were looking for. If location is your thing, then it’s perfect, and Rhodes town has lots to offer. But do not go with the intention of solely using the pool of a day (in my opinion).
