Kolymbia Village

Wow what can we say, after an initial mishap with booking .com and booking Paradise Gardens, totally our own fault, Petros came through with a three bed villa in Paradise Village, Antonia and Petros could not do enough to make our stay perfect, even to the point of coming out at 9.30pm to fix the front door. everything was spotlessly clean and enough equipment for 6 people. Beds were very comfortable and air con was a welcome relief in the 33 degree heat, swimming pool was also fantastic and although the other half felt it was cold i didn't mind it. The only minor thing the sunbeds could do with updating. it is self catering and although it had all the white goods needed we ate out, but if you wanted to cook everything in the villa is perfectly adequate to the point of even a dishwasher and a washing machine, its great coming home to a cold climate knowing the majority of clothes are already clean. TV had netflix not that we watched a lot but a couple of evenings was good to chill out after a night out and before going to bed. on our last day of check out BA cancelled our flight home but Antonia came to the rescue and offered us a two bedroom if we needed it, luckily or not we got taken to Athens overnight. would thoroughly recommend this place and am looking to book for next June or September. overall great value for money.

An amazing family run place which is welcoming, friendly, efficient and an absolute pleasure to stay at. The villa was beautiful and clean with fantastic views and a lovely pool. The owners and staff are so friendly and extremly helpful and informative. I was sent a link to order online and have my groceries delivered to my villa for arrival and everything went smoothly. Their recommendation of local Taverna was spot on and I spent time experiencing the Greek hospitality and wonderful local food. I had an amazing time thank you.

Exceptional experience! Spotlessly clean, helpful friendly staff, amazing variety & standard of food with allergens, gluten free and other intolerances clearly & reliably labelled. GF pasta & pizza delicious! Adult only dining area appreciated. Lovely adult only bar available from 9pm as well - ask staff. Book Relax area room if you prefer it quieter - Activity area is full on! Evening entertainment good. Clearly geared up for families & little ones. Highly recommended 👏

Beautiful villas with lovely pools, very modern - could do with some more cooking implements (wooden not plastic and a couple smaller pans/ cooking tray ) and sharper knives but literally the only thing we could fault it on. verp helpful concierge ( antonia) who gave us a list of places to see and told us of cheapest supermarket to use. Lots of lovely towels left for us to use, a washing machine in bathroom, good shower, lovely comfy beds, free aircon. The pools are a good size and there was pool guy came round every couple days to check and clean out, all the pools seemed to be different shapes and looked lovely at night all lit up. Great balconies to sit out on and sunbathe with amazing views out to the sea and hills around. You are a fair walk into Kolymbia but you can whatsapp the local taxi who is great costs about 10-12euro each way. A hire car is a bonus to get about. Well worth a visit to these villas.

We had a wonderful stay. We stayed in apar**ent 216 and it was really private with a stunning view. You definitely need a car, but it’s a great spot for exploring Rhodes with some beautiful, quiet beaches very close. The team are super friendly and responsive too. Highlight for us was dinner at Stegna Kozas - fabulous seafood restaurant in lovely seaside village, but sunset by our pool was a very close 2nd!

We arrived at the Paradise villas in a lovely room with own pool. This had everything you wanted. Now having said that we went to look at the other property they own Kolymbia Villas and my were we impressed. We decided there and then that we would love to stay there we spoke with reception and they in turn had the owner meet us. He proceeytoo show us 2 vacant villas both equally impressive! We chose one and the owner helped us through this. We had a marvellous villa with excellent views we will definitely return. Thank you

We are just back from a 2 week stay in Kolymbia village. Myself, husband and 2 boys aged 17 & 13. We had a great time. We stayed in villa number 213. The private pool was located to the front of the 2 bedroom villa and the pool had amazing views of the hills including the sea in the distance as it is pitched at a lovely height. The villa had 2 small balcony’s which overlooked the mountains which had a small monastery - you could hear the bells ring! Sunrise and sunsets from the balcony’s were beautiful. The villa is like a 2 bed apar**ent and had absolutely everything you would need for a long stay including washing machine, dishwasher, clothes rack, 2 coffee machines, freezer, liquidiser etc. we wanted for nothing and the air con was fantastic. The design of the villas is very good so although it’s a mini estate there is great privacy while you lounge by or swim in your own private pool. Antonia was super and all communication by WhatsApp was answered and dealt with immediately with all the practical information about shopping and sites sent to us in advance. A big thank you to her for sorting out the printing of boarding passes for us on our last day! She was very patient! Thanks to Petros for greeting us on our first night and again to seeing us off when we left. I would highly recommend Kolymbia village. It is perfectly located between Rhodes town and Lindos and so is a great base for site seeing. Also many beaches nearby - we took a short drive every morning to Tsambiko beach for a morning swim before the beach got busy. Note that you do need a car as the villas are located on a dual carriageway and the main disadvantage (not the fault of Kolymbia village) is that there are no pavements for walking to nearby restaurants etc. so a car is essential in my view. I would recommend the Rhodes water park for all ages. It’s big and well maintained and great fun with loads of natural shade. Also recommend water sports for kids and teenagers at tsambiko beach. All in all it was a fantastic holiday in Rhodes and we were delighted with Kolymbia village which was truly a home from home!

Very well furnished houses with a stunning view. We had lovely stay and had a fabulous time in the pool which was a welcome feature on the hot days. The owners are absolute stars and have been very accommodating. Thank you Petros and Sophia for all your help during our stay.

There was that many good things about this place I honestly don’t know where to start!! Firstly the complex is family run and Sophia, Antonia and property owner Petros were all amazing from the moment we booked our stay to getting home they were in constant contact with us they couldn’t of made things any easier! When realising we was arriving late and that the shops would all be shut Sophia sent a link to do an online shop and order it directly to the villa, when we got there we were met by Petros who had happily had all our shopping put away for us and was there to show us around and how everything worked which I thought was a lovely touch and a great start. He told us not to worry about anything and to get some rest as it was late and we had been travelling and to go in to reception the following day to sort all the relevant paperwork etc. When checking in the following morning we met Antonia who again was amazing she told the kids to help themselves to the pool toys and on realising we hadn’t sorted a hire car sorted one for us to come to the villa and when we finished with it it was picked up right outside at the end of the week. The villa itself was amazing and literally had everything from a Microwave, Coffee machine and Toastie maker in the kitchen to a hair dryer and washing machine in the bathroom all the rooms were air conditioned the beds were comfy and everything was spotlessly clean. There was also a safe which was free of charge. The pool area was fantastic the pool was again spotless with plenty of beds and umbrellas for shade for the kids. We had a little garden next to it with table and chairs and also a BBQ. We had a balcony at the front of the villa over looking the amazing views out to sea so could sit at the front or the back depending whether you wanted to be in the sun or not. The kids noticed there were fountains on the pool and asked Petros if he could put them on and literally minutes later they were on another nice touch. The pools are all lit up at night so if you fancy a night time swim you can do that aswell. It’s all very private and gated all the way round so very safe for the kids there’s even electric shutters on the windows inside the villa so the kids can’t sneak out without you knowing. Another thing to mention was if you can’t be bothered to go out in the evening and want to relax there were plenty of take aways that would drop off at the villa we had a couple which was suggested by Antonia and they were fantastic. During our stay the wildfires were ongoing which created power cuts across the island and Petros was on hand to fire up the complex’s generators to keep us in power and keep us constantly informed with what was happening. Even on our last day when we was waiting for our transfer which didn’t look like it was going to turn up Petros was ready and willing to drive us to the airport himself. Overall a fantastic stay all round and we will definitely be back in the future to make more
