Excellent choice if you are driving and traveling for history

this building was a former palace from.1735. Some rooms still have the beautifull paintong/fecoration on the ceiling and walls. The room are huge and clean . The breakfast as the dinner are gorgeus. Everything workts good.. Friendly and helpfull services...

It’s been some time since I did a review, but this occasion it deserves to be highlighted. What an amazing hotel and team that looked after us and our extended family and friends for my daughter’s wedding. The accommodation is first class, the team are outstanding. Big shout out to Hesham ( maitre d) and his team. He was so helpful and obliging. My goodness he was more worried about the changeable weather than I was, that was his level of concern for us, so everything to run smoothly. We didn’t even notice food being served the team was that discreet and professional. Every staff member in the hotel was welcoming and helpful. We arrived with a boot load of wedding decorations, after travelling from Ireland, and the team were more than helpful. The food was stunning, absolutely stunning, the desert buffet outstanding. The bar ran swiftly and the vino was delicious. Bedrooms huge and so classic. The hotel grounds are tranquil, even though life is busy at the bottom of the drive. 30 mins from Orio airport, 40 from Verona. Bus at hand, into Brescia. My daughter was married in the local church there and the locals were all out to clap and cheer as she did the 3 minute walk back to the hotel. We started our Journey with Ilaria, super professional and super swift to reply to any questions I had, and of course Mauro, gentle manner, professional and reassuring. For all accounts or accommodation queries Kateryna and her admin team. Great hotel to stay and explore the area, even if it isn’t a wedding you want. But I will say, if you want something different for a celebration, wedding or birthday bash, this hotel is the best.

the bed was comfortable in this stunning hotel. The rooms are old fashioned as is befitting of an old building like this and I loved the bathroom ...huge, huge bath, and great shower. breakfast seemed good but I only had scrambled egg. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Overall, my experience at the hotel was a bit mixed. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which definitely added to the overall positive vibe of the property. However, I couldn't help but notice that the hotel was poorly maintained, which was a bit disappointing given the size of the facility. It was clear that the hotel catered to large events such as conventions and weddings, as the property was quite expansive. The decor was a bit confusing, with a mishmash of palace frescos and modern art that didn't quite seem to mesh well together. It left me feeling a bit sad, as I could see the potential for a truly magnificent hotel experience if the interior was updated and refreshed. Despite the tired interior, the hotel was clean and well-kept. Dinner at the hotel was tasty and satisfying, and breakfast was generous and delicious. Overall, while there were some downsides to the hotel, the friendly staff and good food made up for it to an extent. With some renovations and updates, this hotel could truly be a standout destination for travelers.
