This is an absolutely stunning hotel! The quality of service provided is exceptional. Every single staff member goes out of their way to ensure your happiness. The grounds are well kept, the decor is on par and the food and wine is phenomenal. Cannot wait to return.

If you want to live an experience of wellness, recharge your mind and spirit and rest, Abadía Retuerta is the place to go. From the moment you come into the property you feel the good energy. The service is superb, everyone go above and beyond to make you feel pampered. The food is excellent! The experience at Refectorio, the Michelin restaurant for chef Marc Segarra is a journey of exquisite tastes!

Once an Abbey, now a luxury hotel experience. Abadia Retuerta was absolutely stunning. Wonderful staff, delicious food (with a Michelin rated restaurant called Refrectorio). The property is surrounded by vineyards and offers a calm and peaceful vacation experience. The church thats located within the property is open to guests to explore. Additionally, there is a spa with an incredible wine/aromatheraphy experience that was amazing. Followed by the jacuzzi and spring fed pool, it made the perfect rainy day activity. Another dining option is the on property restaurant Vinoteca. Every meal from the complimentary breakfast to the dinners at Vinotecca were delicious. The also have a great bar that has beautiful art work and refreshing beverages. Don't forget to stop by the gym and yoga studio. For more adventurous individuals, take a walk or private tour of the winery which is home to world renowned wines. I hope to visit again one day.

I spent one night at Abadia Retuerda on a recent trip to Spain and it did not disappoint. The property and service are simply world class across the board from every aspects. I had the most basic room which was both large and luxurious and top notch amenities. The michelin star restaurant was closed the night of my stay so I did not get to experiment it but the food at the other restaurant was just excellent. I opted for the private winery visit and tasting and that was easily arranged for the time of my choosing and the private tour of the winery was great and I was able to easily sample most wines from the property. If I have to be honest, my only disappointment is that I only spent one night at this hotel and I was very sad to leave the next morning.

We arrived to the property and a little late to our tour of the vineyards on horseback. Rosa walked us to the horses and stayed with us until we were ready to go. Its the unexpected details that makes this place amazing.

We had an overall great stay at l’Abadia Retuerta. The property itself and the grounds are immaculate. The preservation of the old Abbey is stunning and I highly recommend dining in the courtyard any chance you get. We had an amazing leisurely dinner in the courtyard with the menu from Vinoteca and the wine list from Refectorio with dessert in the library bar! Kudos to the Vinoteca staff for an excellent job. Our first floor room was spacious and well appointed. The suites seem quite luxurious but we spent most of our time out of the room, so our king room was perfectly fine. Anna at the winery is delightful and they are doing some interesting things here. Definitely recommend a wine tour on property as well as exploring the surrounding region of time allows. My one complaint would be that some of the service is not on par with other five star luxury boutique or even larger properties we have stayed at (four seasons, montage, mandarin oriental, Bastide de Gordes, blackberry mountain, Aman properties). For instance, one afternoon at the pool, I wished to order some thing from the pool menu but my husband wished to order some thing from the room service menu. We were told that the room service item could not be ordered to the pool which seemed outlandish for a hotel with only 30 rooms and one dining option open at lunch other than room service. Even if it was not per protocol, other luxury properties would have made such a simple request happen for their clients without so much as an extra question or batting an eye. On several other occasions, we were asked if we could park our car on our own in the shaded lot behind the property. Again, with only 30 guests, this seems like something the staff should be doing - especially during a heat wave. All in all, a fantastic day. But for discerning travelers used to a high level of service, I would say this just missed the five star mark.

My wife and I stumbled across a bottle of wine from Abadia Retuerta while on a short weekend trip to South Padre Island, Texas. Knowing very little about Spanish wine, I ordered it simply because the name was so similar to mine - just for fun I pretended it was my family's vineyard. We liked the wine very much and looked them up when we returned home. What a gorgeous place! As it turned out we had been planning a trip to Spain, so we added a stop at La Domaine toward the end of our vacation and had a wonderful time. The room was impeccable and the service 5-star for sure. Our primary contact was Mohamed and he and his colleagues made our stay perfect. A wine tour with Anna was much more than expected. She was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and we learned a good deal about the history of the property and enjoyed a very nice wine tasting. This 12th century abbey has been refurbished to the nth degree. It is so beautiful and peaceful to walk through the gardens and have a glass of wine on the patio. Breakfast in the Refectory was great and we had several good meals in the more casual Wine Bar Restaurant. We also enjoyed the location and took a full day of touring several fun spots in the area. We still have more Spain to see and hope to return to "my family vineyard".

If you are looking for the ultimate hotel experience and one of the most beautiful settings, then this is it. The grounds are beautiful among vineyards and olive trees. Th staff were above and beyond helpful and courteous. This is the pomace to go and be pampered, from the exquisite rooms, to the food and drink, not to mention the outdoor pool and spa facilities. Go, relax, and rejuvenate!.

Amazing, will come back again and again. this was my 2nd visit.
