레오니다스 호텔 앤드 아파트먼트먼츠(Leonidas Hotel & Apartments)

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome by all the staff. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout. The rooms were cleaned every day and the cleaners were so attentive with some lovely finishing touches with how they arranged the bed linen. The breakfast staff were very friendly and welcoming too. Breakfast had an array of things to choose from such as bacon, egg, toast. A continental choice with meats and cheese, cereals, yogurts, cakes etc. The hotel stands one street back from the sea front and a 5/10 minute walk to Rethymnon Town with a vast choice of restaurants and bars. We didn't use the pool as we hired a car and chose different beaches. We would highly recommend Ligres beach about an hours drive south.

A wonderful 9 day solo stay where the staff could not be faulted. The hotel is clean and tidy with great facilities and close to the lovely beach, restaurants and shops. The staff were so friendly and helpful making me feel very comfortable as a solo traveller. Would highly recommend.

Very good hotel! Clean and hospitable. Staff speaks good English and are very keen to help. Location is +++ and not many steps to the beach. Quiet rooms even though the hotel is close to a busy road. I definitely recommend this hotel.

We have been coming to this hotel for the second year in a row, which probably says a lot already. The rooms are pretty big and most importantly: very clean. The showers are great and airconditioning is more than sufficient to keep the rooms cool during warm days. Staff are always ready to help and very kind. The pool feels like a very calm and quiet area despite the old town being quite nearby. All in all, if you’re looking for a quiet, clean place where the staff will be the best ever, this is the place to go. :-) loop Oh and also: the owner has a very, very cute cat!

My favorite hotel in Rethymno with the best location. The rooms are nice and have everything you need. You can make your own breakfast or enjoy it a the hotel with extra cost. The beds are good which in my opinion is important because you don´t enjoy your holiday unless you get a good night sleep. You can rent a safety box and air condition if you like. The hotel is behind another house so it´s quiet and calm. The balcony is nice, we had two chairs and a table. We enjoyed our coffee there in the morning and a drink in the afternoon. Our room was well cleaned and the cleaning staff was really nice and helpful. What makes this hotel the best in my opinion ( I have been going to Rethymno for over 20 years) is the people. It has great staff that I´m really fond of, especially Olga and Debbie who will do anything to make your stay perfect. I will always choose this hotel and hopefully I will be able to come to Leonidas every year. The beach is just across the street and many nice restaurants very close to the hotel. The walk to old town is short and you can find everything you need close by.

Séjour en studio rez de chaussée avec vue piscine. Équipement suffisant dans le studio. Il manquerait peut-être juste une éponge et du produit vaisselle pour nettoyer la vaisselle si on veut manger dans le studio. Ambiance familiale. Calme. Bon séjour

Bel hôtel familial en retrait de la rue principale donc très calme. Le personnel est adorable. La piscine est suffisamment grande. Le petit déjeuner est bien mélangeant spécialités crétoises et internationales. Le balcon était aussi agréable pour profiter d’un apéro ! La chambre était confortable, par contre les draps étaient trop petits… Il est difficile aussi de régler la climatisation pour qu’il ne fasse pas trop froid la nuit. Résultat, on éteignait la climatisation avant de s’endormir. Globalement et malgré la récente rénovation de l’hôtel, la décoration manque d’une touche de modernité (ex. imprimé des tissus sur les bains de soleil à la piscine et sur les tables de la salle du petit-déjeuner). Enfin l’hôtel est assez loin de la vieille ville, environ 15-20 minutes de marche.

Dit leuke hotel ligt achter de boulevard. Geen geluidsoverlast. Heerlijk zwembad, fijne ligbedjes. Strand op 50 meter. Keurige blinkend schone appartementen. Regelmatig bedlinnen wissel en handdoeken. Ontbijt supergoed verzorgd. Een vitrine met gekoelde producten en 1 met warme producten. Veel keuze en het wordt steeds aangevuld. Vers fruit en sap en prima koffie. Het is een familiebedrijf en de mensen zijn zo aardig en behulpzaam. Je voelt je hier welkom. Het is jammer dat TUI Nederland dit fijne hotel niet meer aanbiedt maar kiest voor andere grote hotels en plaatsen. Rethymnon is ontzettend leuk, uren kan je achter de boulevard dwalen door oude straatjes.
