Unfortunately it was a big disappointment. The place is old and it needs a big renovation. The maintenance was really poor. The pictures on the website looks amazing but the reality is not the same. The cleaning is terrible. They don’t change wet towels, they don’t clean the room properly, everything looks dirty. They don’t replenish the mini bar, don’t have water in the room, even after we asked for it. We booked 4 rooms and each room had a different set up, and something wrong with the room. The place is unpolished for the price you pay. I also felt really unsafe because the balcony door doesn’t lock, so anyone can enter the room without your knowledge. The only thing that is good is the breakfast, great service, fresh fruit and great food. I would never recommend it or go back to it.

Great time away for a mid week stay. While the restaurant wasn't open the hotel team prior to my stay had a whole list of places they recommended and arranged for a cheese platter for us to enjoy in the garden. Highly recommend the staff friendliness is miles beyond that of I would have expected, something similar to that of what I have experienced at n Aman Resort, very friendly and very authentic. Keep up the great work.

We had a wonderful stay and absolutely adored our room. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially when we requested an early check-in—they really went above and beyond to make it happen. The hotel grounds were delightful and impeccably maintained. One small suggestion would be to pay a bit more attention to cleaning the balconies in the garden rooms, as ours was a tad dirty. But overall, the check-in process was seamless and welcoming, and breakfast was simply delightful. We genuinely loved our experience at the hotel.

Beautiful grounds and setting, but rooms are shabby and need refurbishing. Underside of toilet seat looked like it had not had a thorough cleaning in years. Scratched walls and wardrobe doors. Electrical and charging sockets not updated. Sign at entrance stated "live music on Sunday" but reception staff unaware and there was none. We travelled a long way for cellar door tasting as per advertised opening hours, only to find cellar door closed. This is the second Lancemore property I have stayed at, and while both were in spectacular settings, the service reminded me of Fawlty Towers.

We stayed here for our 15th wedding anniversary over the long weekend. The staff were incredibly helpful in finding and recommending for us places nearby to eat, and also securing a reservation at their in-house restaurant The Dining Room (An excellent meal, and wines as well, I can see why it’s a hatted restaurant). The location is a beautiful spot in nature with a private lake that you can walk around, multiple cozy, lounges, where you can curl up with a book and a glass of wine and also activities like the indoor swimming pool and outdoor tennis court. Breakfast buffet was also excellent with plenty of options and good coffee. I was particularly impressed with the minibar in our room as they had local craft beer, local wines, and make your own cocktails from Everleigh, which we definitely made use of. Lisa and Sarina on the front desk were particularly helpful in helping us find our room (we got a bit lost!) and securing a late check out when I asked. We were so touched to arrive in our room and see a bottle of wine as an anniversary gift as well! It’s little touches like this that make Lindenderry an amazing place to stay.

Lindenderry Red Hill is an absolute stunner! The surroundings are like a dream, and the staff? Pure magic! From the friendly check-in to their thoughtful recommendations, every moment felt like a VIP experience. Can't wait to go back – it's a hidden gem you don't want to miss!

Gorgeous property. Next time I will be sure to stay more than one night to really make the most of the experience. I look forward to my next visit!
