로우톤 캐슬(Rowton Castle)

The wedding of our niece and her fiancé this first weekend of June 2024, and booked back in early 2020. It's been a traumatic world in that time but worth the wait. The castle is superb and we were lucky enough to experience an outdoors ceremony as the weather was very good. It's so much less stuffy done this way and the gardens and grounds of the hotel are beautiful, with wonderful views in all directions. We also stayed in one of the bed rooms overnight, which was located right at the top of a tower, overlooking the gardens and countryside to the rear. The sunset and sunrise were spectacular. The hotel is beautifully decorated, making it light and modern for an old building. The staff were great, though there was a hiccup at check-in where our room had been given to the wrong guests. Normally fine, but our niece had placed presents in there for us; awkward. All sorted later though. The food was very good with a delicious wedding lunch and BBQ food later in the garden for guests to enjoy all night. There were three bars in use throughout the proceedings but it was a bit of a shame that when we got there a bit early, we couldn't get a drink. Luckily they pointed us at the leisure club in the grounds where we were able to quench our thirst. All in all, a fantastic location to get married and great old building to do it in. Every detail was so well executed and all I saw were lots of happy people. Highly recommend.

Called in just for coffee when happened to be passing. Didn’t even know this place was here. It is so beautiful. Staff were extremely kind. What a lovely break from a long drive. If I lived nearer, or was getting married I would definitely come back!

We visited Rowton Castle for one of their wedding open days and it was certainly one for the best we have been to. The staff were all so welcoming and informative and certainly very experienced at planning and hosting weddings. The highlight is definitely the garden which is beautifully laid out and is an ideal setting for a fairytale wedding. Thank you to all staff for an excellent open day. Everything we have to say about Rowton Castle would be in the superlative, from the initial contact , through to the day of our departure. Beautiful setting , very clean, delightful restaurant and a professional, friendly, accommodating team that were a delight to meet. Thank you to them all . Attended the castle for my cousin’s wedding in February. It was absolutely beautiful, the grounds, the castle, the bedrooms, everything. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we had a wonderful weekend. An amazing venue and and amazing day had by all.

The location is a dream and the castle is very impressive. All the staff were polite and friendly. The food was good and the rooms adequate. Pitty no charge points for electric cars. All the waiters and waitresses worked well together. Food was very good.

Wow, what a truly magical and amazing experience from start to finish. We recently attended our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding there, it was perfect. The venue and surrounding areas are absolutely stunning, from the breathtaking view as you first encounter it along the drive way, to the Welsh countryside from the beautifully decorative rooms, is purely idyllic. The attentiveness to detail and the service given was wonderful, the staff are a credit to the team. The food was delicious, well balanced and beautifully presented, all adding to the overall experience. We had a fabulous time, creating many memories and would highly recommend this truly incredible place.

Wonderful Castle. We stayed for two nights here. The Castle itself is an amazing place to stay. The staff are super friendly and go out of their way to help you with anything. Our room was immaculately clean , comfy bed and tea, coffee etc and biscuits replenished everyday. We had evening meal here twice as the food was so yummy. Have recommended to all our friends and family and we will definitely be going back. Thank you!

We were looking for a couple of nights away, and I've always wanted to stay in a castle in a 4 poster bed. Rowton Castle didn't disappoint! We stayed in the yockleton room. Gorgeous room. Had everything you needed. Breakfast and service was 100%. Super comfy bed. Staff were lovely. Will definitely go back. Highly recommend 👌
