All in all, it did the job. I was meant to have a different room that became unusable and they had to switch me to another available room at the last minute, which they were communicative about.
I’ll start with the pros: The location was good and there were very few options, so I was appreciative of having a place to stay. The restaurant across the street doesn’t look like much but it was delicious!
The cons: the mud outside the cabin made it very hard to get our stuff out without getting pretty filthy. Then inside they had a small hand towel on the floor for us to wipe our shoes on and take them off. The carpet was a bit dirty already so didn’t feel great about walking around in my socks. The bed was like a pullout couch from the 1960s - my feet were raised above my head when I laid down in the bed. The lights were mostly bright white/almost fluorescent, which made everything look pretty harsh. The TV didn’t work, the bathroom was freezing, and there were holes in the curtains that kinda creeped me out.
