Spending time together with friends @Heritage property is always the best time! With very warm team led by Shailendra it’s an experience one will want to repeat every few months time permitting! Food was delicious… kick starting with bfast on bright and sunny morning, very interesting terraces and ambient music. Lunch and dinner one could have the *** pasand stuff. .. Wd recommend kumaoonni bichoo saag, Bhatt ki daal and madua (ragi) roti… must have!… inspite of the cold winter was served hot/warm. And in between lunch and dinner ..Pakoras sandwiches@ tea time with sigri @4pm with temperatures of the likes of 8-9degrees was a treat! Never miss it! This was a repeat all days Thank you and Best wishes to the entire team!

The most warm and hospitable service and staff. Special mention to Shailendraji. Very reasonable and very good food. The view of sunrise and sunset are amazing. The property is well located. We stayed in the renovated Fig. Love the breakfast time music.

I had a wonderful time at the Ramgarh Bungalows. The deck is my favourite place, one can spend the entire day just there enjoying the yummiest meals and endless cups of tea and coffee with the freshly baked cookies and the fresh namak paras. The reason to go back again and again is the hospitality and the personal touch of the staff. Can't thank them enough for looking after us so lovingly. A home away from home!

The place is a hidden gem amidst nature. The flowers and birds outside our rooms blew our minds away. Never felt so relaxed in any other place ever. Staff took care of the food and other requirements. A budget-friendly hotel in the lap of nature.

We had a good time, the staff is excellent and will assist you in every way possible, good rooms, great food, great setting. The rooms can be spruced up a little, some guidance around what can be done in the vicinity will be helpful, activity room or indoor sports area would be great

Excellent property complimented with perfect hospitality. Read a book, take short walks and detox yourself. Surrounded by a 270 degree view of openness with only mountains to keep you company make the sunset views eternal. The manager Shailendraji was very helpful and we will surely visit again

We fondly returned to the Writers Bungalow after an interregnum of 22 years; gulping gallons of fresh mountain air and soaking in the serenity and quietude that first drew Rabindranath Tagore to this resplendent colonial cottage. What a magnificent restoration job Aman Nath and Neemrana have done to the Writers Bungalow which is integral to the Ramgarh Bungalows spread out like nuggets on a hillside necklace. Local lore, as well as a poster in the veranda of the Writers Bungalow has it, that Gurudev commenced work on the Nobel winning Gitanjali here at the Writers Bungalow, while his writing retreat Tagore Top was being built on a nearby hilltop, a heavenly location, if ever there was one. My daughter and I trekked on a narrow winding trail through a verdant dense forest and read a verse from Gitanjali under the Deodar tree where Gurudev had once set up his writing perch. What an utterly divine experience! Made possible and inspired by Anand ,our very genial valet , attendant and guide from the Writers Bungalow. It would be utterly remiss not to mention the sunset viewing spot at the Writers Bungalow, where perhaps Gurudev sat one early twentieth century evening, and penned clouds with altogether a different raisin d’être in his Straybirds, purportedly also written at the Writers Bungalow: “Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.” We were completely bowled over by the warmth and hospitality extended to us by truly a harmoniously working team at the Ramgarh Bungalows, led by Shalainder, in whose lexicon the word No has no place. We stuck to the Kumaoni Pahari cuisine- finger licking good.

Excellent location , nice food and wonderful ambience. Mr Shailendra manager is very wonderful person ,has personal touch with each guest . Sanjay , Sandeep and Basant are excellent at behaviour , helping and soft skills. We are regular visitor to Ramgarh BUNGLOWS since 2015 only due to behaviour of Shailendra , Deepak and other staff members .

This is a beautiful place.Calm and serene and this is complemented by the ever attentive and courteous staff.The Chef prepares excellent dishes.Complementary breakfast is sumptuous and delicious. The Manager, Shailendra Dhaila, is doing a great job and makes the stay a memorable experience in each and every way.
