Eagleton the Golf Resort

I had booked this resort for my parents through Club Mahindra. To be honest, the resort is undoubtedly good, but it is not up to the standard of Club Mahindra resorts. The golf course was unfortunately closed, and the toilets were not maintained to the standard of the resort. There are limited food options for pure vegetarians, and the food does not taste that good compared to its exorbitant cost. There are no restaurants in and around, so you need to depend on them only. Overall, the experience was not that good as compared to other Club Mahindra resorts. Maybe Club Mahindra is not directly involved in its ***agement; it is only a partner hotel.

Mahindra resorts are turning out to be a scam. Especially if Eagleton Resorts are one of their affiliates..Such is the sorry state of affairs in this resort. Poorly maintained resort. Where do I start. To start with there is no one to pick up calls for room service. Poor sleeping beds. Golf links is always shut.theres no access to it. Movie theatre is not operational. In the play area you need to pay for badminton shuttle. Especially after such an experience we dint want to experiment with the food here...so went out and had food.

Being Club Mahindra members, we had booked this property through Club mahindra website itself . Club mahindra calls this ....it's Associate property. We couldn't even stay full 3 nights that we had booked .We checked out of this property the very next morning. A very poorly maintained property , sub - standard food,beds were hard and the mattresses were very old and worn out,outdated bathrooms .Very disappointed with Club Mahindra 😕.......they are trying to expand but then are not able to provide a fulfilling experience to their members.....the Club mahindra vibe was missing.... slow room service ..it literally took them 2 hours to provide us with fresh bath towels and hand towels ......will not be going to the property again unless it is completely renovated and overhauled .....bad experience

One of the worst resorts. Checked in and got into our room at 1. Came out for lunch buffet and realised they had very limited food choices. food was horrible , tasteless no Salt no masala. The central ac in the restaurant didn’t work. No jain food , if we order anything jain they said they will take 45 minutes to make. Finished our lunch and went to the swimming pool. The whole pool area had smell of chlorine. The tiles of the pool were chipping away and 2-3 of us had bruises because of the sharp edges of the tiles. Dangerous for kids. And you can always feel sand underneath your feet at the bottom of the pool. We were 5 couples and each of us have a 2-3 yrs old kid, in the evening we ordered boost/bournvita for kids and tea for us , it took them 1 hour to serve that too after having to stand outside the kitchen. 1 hour for boost ! imagine hungry cranky kids. Even after an hour the tea tasted like the ones we get in railway station. We come back to our room to find that the central AC in the room also didn’t work. The kids play area was so filthy that none of the kids wanted to play there. During dinner there was private party going on so most of the staff were allocated there , there were 25 tables in the buffet area and only two waiters. Felt pity for them as they were getting scolded at every table. Food was not refilled on time at the buffet , they took 1 hour to serve rotis. Again NO JAIN food. And the food tasted horrible. Probably they got chef from a local mess. All in all the experience for quiet terrible. Would not recommend this resort to anyone.

EAGLETON GOLF is an excellent place to stay after from daily buzz life . AS a member of Club Mahindra got the opportunity to visit this heavenly place for 3 night.food delicious n spread out. KARTHIK SIR gave his best services . ,jovial and respected restaurant staff. SUN GOD TEMPLE is in the premises of the property, very beautiful. The rooms were huge,clean hygiene. The property is very huge with walking tracks, yoga, excercise facility. Good relaxation place . The services was excellent in all respect. SOHAIL,KARTHIK AND ALL OTHER STAFF GAVE THEIR EXCELLENT SERVICE. appreciate and will look forward to visit again.

Was a world class property But run down due to neglect Needs total refurbishment But some day going to be great again. Beds are 20 years old and food is all slippery slope. Staff good Looks like they are trying to keep it alive with lot of effort. Some times helpless

There is no golf, the pool is dirty and filled with algae, if you're lucky enough to get a room service menu the food tastes horrible. The rooms themselves look like they are 20 years old and don't feel like they've been renovated since. One of the rooms the lock was broken but they charged us full price. The only thing worse than the amenities is the service. Don't waste your money here. We paid for an overnight stay (you have to pay full price upfront) but left to came back to Bangalore after 5 hours because it was so bad.

A good break from the regular buzz of life. Very near from Bangalore, peace and greenery galore, a good and grand Sungod Temple, good supportive staff (B***n and Surya stood out), more than decent food (from a la carte) - some of the points which are pros of this resort. The only con which I think is highlightable is the upkeep of the rooms. Compared to other Club Mahindra resorts, it was a little below par of the expectations. But overall a great resort, and definitely recommended.

Being Club Mahindra members, we booked this resort for a break. The resort is badly maintained with cockroaches on the food, no cleaning done on the tables after guests vacate - one has to search for a clean table to eat, unclean plates lying outside the rooms, not picked up for a day and taps leaking in the bathroom. Swimming pool though big and very good looking, has sand and can hurt your legs with bruise. The only saving grace are some people - Mr Abhishek, the activity center person and house keeping staff who regularly serviced us all time courteously. The resort has a Sun temple nearby and a good attraction. If you do not have a car, you can get Ola and Uber and there are multiple restaurants within 5 kms from the resort. Please avoid this place until a hygiene check is done. We also were surprised that the Club Mahindra executive was unavailable the days we stayed in this place.
