호텔 에르미타주(Hotel Ermitage)

Bring ear plugs. While it’s located in a great area, the walls are paper thin. Each night you will hear your neighbors, the road, any and everything. With nobody ever stationed at the hotel, you are stuck handling things yourself. The power may also go out as I lost bathroom lights, tv and fridge electricity.

Good location for old Quebec. Did not see any staff. Arrived 1hour before check in and no staff to be seen- could hear someone cleaning upstairs. Luckily we only had small back packs so did some sightseeing before going back to check in. Official check in time was 3pm, at 4pm, no staff in sight, just envelopes on the desk with names on them. Anyone could have walked in and collected our key. Same for checkout, no one manning the desk, just left the key in the envelope we received it in on the desk. There were hairs in the shower when we used it the first time. Room was large and comfortable.

We had a wonderful room at the Hotel Ermitage on 60 Rue Sainte-Ursule and had no issues at all. The Hotel team were responsive with my inquiries regarding check-in – I had seen many posts regarding issues and/or check in but for us, there was none. There is no traditional check in at the 60 Rue Sainte-Ursule address, they have set this up as a ‘speed’ check in. So be sure to read your emails because they do reach out and return emails promptly. We parked down the hill in a covered 24 hr garage. Like many hotels in Old QC, this is a walk up, so don’t be surprised (or complain) when you don’t find the elevator. Our room was much larger than other rooms we had stayed in previously and we had all the necessities. The queen bed was beyond comfortable, windows had black out curtains, the whole room was very clean, flat screen tv, and a coffee maker and small refrigerator was a great surprise. (FYI) Our room did not have a bureau or closet, but we typically live out of our luggage for short trips anyway so did not bother us at all. We would stay at this hotel again – the price was great, the room was great, the ‘team’ was responsive and helpful, and location (location! location!) you are within walking distance to everything; restaurants, shopping, mini marts, and the beautiful boardwalk view.

Comfortable, great location, quiet, historical. One has to check-in a few blocks away, but there's the option to self check-in. It could be a bit tricky. The hallway is being renovated. The virtual concierge by text answers relatively quickly !

Lovely rooms with amazing bathrooms and a living room too! Great location, very safe, customer service even though virtual yet extremely responsive and very helpful! It was a pleasant and a convenient stay!

A little added bonus for a trip to Europe in North America. A Quaint 10 room building for people who want to manage things themselves.

The hotel room was great. But the check in location stated was on fire a couple months back and closed. No current check in information listed anywhere, I needed to ask 2-3 other hotels to call them to find out new checkin location. Terrible communication. Took us 30-40mins to find the way to check in.

I have travelled consistently over many years. Always managing expectations. However I am completely surprised at how the reviews indicates 7 and 8. Having to stay in the rain outside to go to 2 other location to get keys. Building was run down. Door barely lock or shut. Paper thin walls. A couple fighting next door and no ability to access staff. Did not get the room we paid for and tired of debating what ******* posted versus what was given. Unusable TV and no toilet paper. 7/8 might be location only. Disappointing but made the best since it was a trip for new years. .

One of the best rooms we have ever stayed in. A beautiful area to stay in aswell.
