더 던키르크 호텔(Dunkirk Hotel Pyrmont)

I would recommend this hotel to others and stay here again. I stayed in the family suite to ensure an ensuite bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well, but woke early as the windows are only single glazed and I could hear cars on the road below.

很乾凈很衞生，就是沒有電梯，一共有三樓。一樓是個酒吧，沒事可以小酌一杯。地理位置也還不錯，但每晚十二點後店員會下班

Clean and tidy room. Basic but perfect for an overnight stay with no frills.

Location of property awsome. The maintenance of rooms really poor. Broken lamps, broken cupboards. Room cleaness was good for beds and utensils. The dust and mould in room are really awful. Shower mould and dirt in the grout, shower had hair and opened shower gel and soap in it. Toilet dust on floor and fixtures, Toilet brush looked like it hadnt been cleaned in weeks. The toilet had wee and toilet paper in it hasnt been flushed. The ceiling had water damage and hasnt been fixed up. Overall would not recommend this place.

Our first room had no tv remote. Second room had 2 televisions but only one remote. When we turned on the tv the channels hadn't even been programed in. The 3rd room had only 1 glass & 1 coffee mug, no spoons, the fridge wasn't turned on, I had to lay on the floor to plug my bedside lamp into a powerpoint which was under the cupboard containing the cloths hangers. The toilet in one of the bathrooms didn't work & the windows in both bathrooms were filthy. Not a happy traveller.

A standard pub stay in the inner city - you get what you pay for. The stand alone air conditioner was leaking into the carpet (but it has aircon!) The traffic lights outside the window flash directly onto the pillow (but the windows do open!) The traffic was close and loud (but you're in the city!) It's cheap and secure, the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean, and it came with a table, a small kitchen and an ensuite. Sound from the pub below wasn't a major concern. It's very close to the Maritime Museum at Darling Harbour, and the footbridge into town, without paying the premium that comes with water views. I'd stay there again in a pinch. But it would have to be a real pinch.

The property is well located at a walking distance of a lot of attraction and near the light rail station. Sadly, the room do now have air conditioning. Only a fan on the ceiling that is also the room light is there to keep cool down the room. The hotel is located at a busy corner and opening windows at night to get some cool air is extremely noisy with trucks breaks hissing and clunking.So it is either keeping the light on to sleep or getting woken by the traffic. The room temperature is probably exceeding 30 degrees if the windows are closed.

We loved how convenient, quiet and central the property was for us as we have family in Pyrmont. Bed comfortable, staff great, surprisingly quiet at night. Only negatives were not huge, clunky extremely loud airconditioner not attached to wall. No shelving in shower for products, no shelving, towel rails or even hooks in the bathroom for towels and toiletries - something which can be cheaply and quickly fixed unlike the noise of the aircon.
