Nice place to stay. Very clean and rooms are nice. Staff friendly !

One of the best Inn's i have stayed at on my trip through North Carolina. Nice, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Easiest check in and check out I've had.

This is an older hotel with updates - yet the new owners have maintained its original charm - the taproom in the front room was an unexpected find, loved it. Loved the rooms of memorabilia and also games for rainy days. There were plenty of small seating areas for families and friends to sit around and play cards and games or just relax with a beer and talk. I loved the grounds - loved the trail through the woods in the back. They have pickle board courts too! Our room was very comfortable and in good working order. It was conveniently located, and reasonably priced. I hope I get to come back soon and would recommend it for someone looking for a homey, cozy place to stay!

I love the property and the nostalgic feel. There was absolutely no soundproofing between rooms though and when a couple with two small children checked in to the room beside us we heard every conversation and every running footstep! Also, no breakfast option on site. It was fun but we won’t be back at that price point.

This place was awesome. We didn’t get to enjoy all it offered but we were there to see what they had to offer - so much!! The room was nice, clean and smelled awesome lol - hotel/motels don’t have a fresh scent - this one did - and not from spray! The sheets were a joy to pull up and snuggle in to!! Wish I could have had there Pineola throw pillow 😊 The staff were very helpful and friendly! Really great place!!

This place is fabulous! It's not fancy, but it is fabulous! It's 2.5 hours away from where I live and I already have a weekend booked in November!

The Pinola Hotel is nestled in the Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina off the Linville Falls Highway. It can accommodate individuals who prefer a room at the lodge, as well as an RV campground, and for families, it has a few cabins as well. Overall, my experience was excellent, and I would consider staying there again. However, I recommend previewing your room before you accept the Keys. My room overall was clean but had a very heavy mildew odor. I narrowed the source down to the two drawers in the dresser. I requested housekeeping remove the bedding from the drawers and sanitize the insides. It took about 24 hours, but the musty odor dissipated enough that I could remain in the room. By day two, the odor was gone.

Live music was great and the lodge room was very clean!

Nice hotel no frills but didn’t expect them for the price. Great value. Clean and convenient to Grandfather Mountain and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Great Mexican restaurant within a half mile.
