We had a super stay at Suriya resort! The staff was very friendly and kind , especially Nikini the young waitress who alwas come to ask and ask whether we are satisfield. All the other staff were making sure we were comfortable. The room was big, tidy and absolutelly comfortable. The view from the hotel was absolutelly stunning, We could see the ocean and the the private swimmingpool at the same time, surrounded by palm trees and temple floweres.

The evening of December 11th, 2024, was truly a memorable occasion, spent in the company of family and friends at the Club Hotel Dolphin. The festive spirit was alive and well, as we enjoyed the beautiful melodies of Christmas carols. The hotel was wonderfully decorated, radiating holiday cheer, and the staff greeted everyone with warm smiles, adding to the joyous atmosphere. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the talented choir, whose performance of traditional Christmas carols captivated all in attendance. The event was thoughtfully organized and well-attended, with both in-house and outside guests, including religious dignitaries. It was a true pleasure to join in the singing and dancing to the familiar tunes, filling the night with laughter and holiday cheer. As a resident of Negombo, just 35 km from Colombo, it was a rare privilege to experience such a special celebration of Christmas so close to home. A special word of appreciation goes to the General Manager of the hotel and Thakshila Galappaththy, the Resident Manager, who personally welcomed all guests and ensured that the evening was a grand success. Their efforts in putting together such a splendid event were truly commendable. The night concluded with a delicious dinner that was unparalleled in the region, making for a perfect end to a delightful evening. For next year, a small suggestion: a glass of mulled wine and some festive Christmas treats would be a lovely addition to an already fantastic event. :-)
