We had a great 1 week stay at Creekside Oasis. The place is serene, very tropical and beautiful. It was an oasis feel as we ate our breakfast that was served every morning. Heard the howler monkeys and lots of birds in the area. Very accommodating and personal. Would recommend if in the area.

Authentic Belizian experience with an incredible natural setting, local food, and fantastic staff. It's a secluded, safe, and clean lodge located just outside of Punta Gorda. It was a great place to use as a base location for daily excursions!

We have just returned from a three-night visit at Chaab'il B'e where we stayed in one of the thatched roof casitas in the beautiful garden of the property. Our room had a comfortable queen bed as well as a set of bunkbeds, both draped with mosquito netting---though we never noticed any insects. Despite the heat, the ceiling and floor fans kept us comfortable--after all, the Mayans designed these structures to tolerate the heat. At night we fell asleep listening to sounds of the jungle, and we were fortunate enough to be awakened to howler monkeys nearby. Sheila is an amazing cook, and our meals were extraordinary. Good coffee greeted us each morning, and breakfast began with a lavish display of fresh fruits and included abundant pancakes, eggs, waffles, and beans. For dinner we enjoyed fresh salads, soup, perfectly roasted chicken, pureed cauliflower, and a pasta and vegetable dish. Dessert was copious quantities of mango crumble with ice cream. Sheila and Rusty are friendly and welcoming, eager to share their knowledge of the birds and all of nature that inhabit their property. We are most grateful for our time spent at their home.

Highly recommended. Amazing location, food and beautiful facilities. Shelia is an amazing cook, everything we had was fantastic. The location is beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed the trails and wildlife. Howler monkeys were fun. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. It made a great home base for adventures or a quite rest day.

The beds and accommodations were a bit tired, and the location is next to a lumber mill, so it can be noisy in the day, but the hosts are anxious to please and if you have meals there, they will be terrific. It's a good home-base location to head a few different directions to explore and see authentic Maya culture.

It was a great experience staying at the Chablis be Lodge. The accommodations were good with hot showers and we had AC in our rooms. The breakfasts and dinners were to die for prepared by the owner herself. The hospitality and views were fantastic. Will definitely be back to Chablis Be Lodge!
