First time with our kids, we had a blast. The food was delicious at the dinner restaurants, the buffet was good and had lots of options but dinner was better. Check-in and check-out were not good. We were dropped off at the wrong resort and waited 1 hour at the front desk for them to tell us we needed to go to the other resort. At check-out we requested the bell boy to be at our room at 11 a.m. to help with the luggage and they never came. I had to carry my luggage from my room to the lobby otherwise we would have missed our transfer to the airport. Other than that trip was perfect and would definitely recommend the resort.

Pros : 1. Kids activities Cons : 1. Limited options for food 2. No elevator and front desk was asking additional money to give room on 2nd and 3rd floor. 3. In room minibar is really joke. You get 2 beers, 4 water bottle, 1 Pepsi, 1 soda and huge collection of snacks (4 small packs of peanuts only). 4. Dirty glasses and maintenance issues in room. Overall I wouldn't visit or recommend this place to anyone considering value of money.

Food was poor quality, the beer was laso poor quality. Kept getting bloated everytime i drank a beer and after i ate. The entertainment staff was annoying, there was one guy always bothering the noght before we left he asked us to please rate him online so did the bartender, i think thats up to each person to decide if they want to give a good rating or not. Would not recomend this resort.

Entertainment, Service and housekeeping staff was the best. The front desk was the worst thing to happen to this hotel. There was no organization to check in. I spoke to the supervisor Mario about this and he had nothing to say. We change room 3 times in a 6 night Trip. There was lots of flies in the buffet and if you do not know Spanish, pick a different destination. No one there knows English. Front desk staff were not welcoming at all. The entertainment lineup in the theater was great every night. There was no entertainment for English speaking tourist like myself and family. Rooms were not ready when we got there. We got our room until after 4pm. It was dirty when we got it. Was not best experience. However, the pool was the best part of this trip. We enjoyed every minute of the pool. Very clean and lots of space of everyone.

The entertainment staff was great. No complaints. But the service staff at the front desk was not only slow and careless, they were plain rude and insulting. They were 6 in the back of the desk and refused to serve us at check in for over 30 minutes, being very sarcastic and rude. At one point during the trip, they told us we could sign up for surf lessons and only had to pay if we did them. We didn't. At check out, they did not want to let us go unless we paid because they couldn't get the confirmation that we never took the class. We were going to miss our flight and had no choice but to pay for an activity we never did. No respect during the conversation, just very rude. We took pictures of all the staff and will be putting in a formal complaint. Thanks to your entertainment staff, our trip was ok but all in all, very bad experience. We have been to DR over 25 times, Bahia Principe was our worst experience. Very disappointed.

I liked the service and the service staff. Service desk check in needs a lot of improvement, specially providing the right information to new comers and they should also need to improve there english.
