호텔 파라다 푸이그세르다(Hotel Parada Puigcerda)

Arrival is easy, by train, bus or vehicle. The hotel is above the rail station, buses stop outside and there's ample free parking adjacent. The reception staff were very welcoming and my room, while compact, was perfectly comfortable, modern and clean. My room overlooked the square in front and I didn't hear the trains on the other side at all. Access to Puigcerda centre is super-easy via the (free) funicular and lift up the hill. Would happily return.

A very unique modern hotel in a train station our room was a loft on the second floor. Extremely freindly staff and helpful, fast and easy check in, great breakfast and snacks for guests all day - made our stay in the region very momorable.

We came from Andorra by public bus and needed a place in the area to stay to visit the Vall de Nuria and then take the little yellow train from over the French border. This hotel was very well located in the upstairs of the train station. It is very nicely done up and the staff were lovely. Breakfast at €9.90 was also an ok deal if you need to get away early. We weren't so keen about the shower not being in a bathroom and just opening to the room, as the pictures online didn't indicate this. Toilet was enclosed. For the price this was good value and would still consider again. I liked the muffins and tea/coffee available all day in the kitchen area, nice touch. Word of warning: if you need a taxi, beware it may not turn up. Reception booked and confirmed a taxi for us to Latour de Carol and it never showed so we had to walk into France or would miss our train. Not this hotels fault but something to be aware of if staying. The town itself was a welcome surprise, hadn't expected much but reserves an afternoon to explore. Central restaurant opposite church tower was a great stop for tapas.

Fun interior, they have leaned in to the architecture of the building. Plenty of parking, good breakfast. Thank you!

All staff were quite friendly and the front desk person helped me to sort a taxi…very helpful for an American who doesn’t speak Spanish.

The hotel was excellent value for money. The room was a good size and had everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Would stay there again.

A little disappointed because of the price. Very well located if you are going to la Molina ski

El hotel ocupa las plantas superiores de la estación de tren de Puigcerdá y ha sido construido manteniendo detalles que da un encanto a estación antigua que lo hace muy atractivo. Por supuesto que la estación y los trenes no causan ninguna molestia ni ruidos. Todo lo contrario. Es muy fácil aparcar y el acceso a la zona peatonal del centro es muy cómodo ya que a 50 mts. hay unos ascensores que te dejan allí sin esfuerzo. El trato es fabuloso. La persona de recepción es muy amable y te facilita todo tipo de explicaciones para que la estancia sea muy agradable. El acceso nocturno es con clave. Tiene un servicio de desayunos de auto servicio que está correcto. No es el de un cinco estrellas pero todos los productos son de muy buena calidad. Tienen el detalle de dejar abierto el acceso 24h. por si entre horas, te apetece tomar alguna fruta, agua, o pequeñas viandas, Bajo reserva previa te ofrecen media hora gratuita de jacuzzi. Por proponer alguna mejora, diría que añadieran algún mueble o aparador para recoger mejor el equipaje.
