마리나 스위트(Marina Suites Gran Canaria)

Das Hotel befindet sich direkt am Yacht Hafen in einer top Lage. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt im Apartment. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, ausgestattet mit einem Wohnzimmer, Küche und einen riesigen Terasse. Kann das Hotel nur jedem weiter empfehlen.

This hotel is perfect! The rooms are very spacious and well appointed, all the staff are lovely, and the location is ideal. Hotel We were stayed on a self-catering basis. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely guy called Jorge who immediately made us feel welcome. Our room really was a small appartment - it had everything we needed, you could easily live in it! The kitchen had everything (see photo) including a washing-up kit. There are two sides to the hotel - one side facing the marina and the town, and the other facing the pool area and out to sea. We had the marina side, which offered great views but the marina could be a little noisy during the day. This never bothered us but the other side may be quieter. Also the marina side does not get direct sun until very late in the day so was nice and cool. The pool-facing side is sunward so I assume it will be the hotter side. We had breakfast at the restaurant a few times - a standard buffet affair but the quality and selection was excellent, and at €15 per person very reasonable. Juan gave us a lovely welcome every morning! There was loads of parking right outside the hotel, but being on the marina does mean you have to pay (€14.40 per day maximum) - factor that in if you're hiring a car. The beds are pretty firm. If you like a softer bed, the sofabed in the lounge may be a good option. The only suggestion I have for improvement is a walk-in shower. Our room had a bath with shower, which was fine but can be awkward for those with mobility issues. Location Puerto Rico is set in a valley, and a lot of the hotels are high up on the steep sides, making for lots of steps. However the Marina Suites are at sea level, meaning it's a totally flat walk to get to the lovely beach, which is about 5 mins walk away. There are lots of great places to eat very nearby. There is a little collection of restaurants and a small supermarket just a few minutes away - turn right out of the hotel, go through the tunnel and up a little hill. I really like Puerto Rico itself - even though the town is a tourist resort, it's relatively quiet and has a great mix of shops. The Mogan Mall is very pretty and surrounded by shops and restaurants of all kinds - it's about 20 minutes walk away from the marina. While there you should definitely check out the large Spar near the mall - it's the fanciest supermarket I've ever seen! If you're able-bodied everything is easily walkable from the Marina Suites - if not, all the shops are along the floor of the valley, which is a gentle hill and I think most are accessible by wheelchair. I don't recall there being any required steps from the hotel right up to the mall. If you're driving there's no shortage of parking in the town. There is a huge car park under the mall, which was free when we visited. I also noted lots of EV charging places in all the large carparks on the island.

We had an amazing stay here. The best hotel we have stayed in, relaxing and calming. The rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We stayed in room 809 which had an amazing view of the marina and we had the most delightful house keeper, I think her name was Natalie. I had a broken shoulder and arm and she seen my partner trying to straighten my hair, she laughed jokingly and kindly took over. Which I greatfully appreciated. Thanks Natalie. Can’t wait to go back.

Just returned from a fabulous week at this gorgeous hotel. Could not have been more perfect. Breakfast choice amazing (can't believe anyone could think it was anything other) Location second to none with a fantastic view from the balcony of our suite. We requested a high floor with a marina view and this is what we got WOW!! Staff so friendly and hardworking doing a great job. Pool was one of the nicest. Plenty of sunbeds at all times of the day. See you next year. Rooms 518 & 519 again please.

Just home from our holidallay at the marina suites.This was our third and last visit .The breakfasts were 2 star and that's generous!!!!!! Appalling,the bacon was congealed in a block all stuck together ,fatty and very under cooked ,all the bread was poor quality including the rolls and the cakes were stale ,the bananas were going bad and fruit flys on them !!! Very poor .My review isn't all bad,the select suite was lovely ,clean and comfortable.The pool is lovely ,but sunbeds are crammed together like sardines in a tin,my tip is to get balantine bed at no extra cost .I have no complaints about the staff and the hotel is central ,but don't expect a good breakfast

Just got back from Marina suites and we had a fantastic stay! The staff on reception were excellent and we were welcomed with a glass of Cava on arrival. The rooms were spacious with large balcony l and kept spotlessly clean every day by the friendly cleaners. Puerto Rico itself isn’t fantastic if you are looking for local cuisine so we spent quite a bit of our time in Mogan which is 20 minutes away by car and has some lovely restaurants. There is a beautiful beach 5 minutes by car called ‘playa anfi del mar’ which is an absolute must visit! All in all a great stay.

Our 4th visit to these lovely apartments. The location is great and they are spacious with lovely big balconies and the view is fantastic. They are spotlessly clean and the staff are friendly. They food in the pool bar is lovely and reasonably priced. Lots of lovely places to eat on your doorstep too. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing self catering break.

We've recently come back from our stay. Overall we really liked the Marina Suites. The hotel was clean and the majority of the staff were friendly and helpful. There were nice touches such as a dressing gown, slippers and amenity kit for our child. We had a suite on the 9th floor. It was spacious and light. There was a table and chairs on the balcony with a great view over the marina. There was only one lovely sun bed, but you couldn't have fitted another one out there. Be warned the lifts are small and at busy times, you may wait for a while to get one. Take the stairs if you can! There were plenty of beds around the pool, but a lot of these are very close together. The pool was a lovely temperature and the view over the Atlantic fantastic. The towels (bath and pool) can be replaced as needed, but they were lovely and thick and soft! Breakfasts were standard hotel fare - a lot of variety, but the same day to day. The lunch menu at the Atlantic Bar is good and a nice change from the 'resort' menus in most external restaurants. I wouldn't recommend El Puerto (evening restaurant) especially if you have children - the menu is quite limited and there is no children's menu. The food was okay, but seemed to focus more on presentation than taste. (Although it's not clear, it's apparently not part of the hotel...). There are plenty of other restaurants near by. Is it four star? I'm not convinced (I spend too much time in hotels with work). The dressing gowns and slippers were a nice touch as well as the sparkling wine on arrival and bottle of wine on departure and the coffee pods for the nespresso machine. From a toiletries perspective, there's handwash by the sink and a combined body wash/shampoo in the shower/bath. I would have expected body lotion at a minimum with cotton wool etc. (This can be in a large bottle similar to the hand wash to minimize waste). If there were tissues in the room, we couldn't find them. Also an ice tray in the freezer section - this was provided when we asked. Finally - just include the cost of teh safe in the price. Having to hire it is ridiculous. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would recommend it.
