아파트호텔 코스타 마르(Aparthotel Costa Mar)

This place has some great aspects but also some very poor aspects. The location is great. Right beside beach, spar shop and restaurants, bars. The pool is lovely with plenty of new and comfortable sunbeds. Water cool but refreshing. We had a nice sea view from nice sized balcony. Apartment was very large but antiquated. Plaster cracked and bulging on walls, old tiling, horrible old wood fittings. Kitchen is OK but very badly equipped if wanting to do any cooking. No cleaning stuff available either. Bed was nice and comfy. Pillows OK. WiFi is absolute rubbish and you have to pay 21€ extra for it. They need to sort that out in this day and age. Did not have any food but I can't imagine it's great.

The whole apartment had a really bad damp smell all the tiles had to hat appeared to be puddles underneath them, outside area was lovely and I could see the beach from where we was, went self catering spa is directly opposite so purchased food and cooked, restaurants nearby -6 euros in a taxi to the local shopping centre, McDonald’s etc.

Nice clean place very outdated staff lovely food was cold and a bit rough room was cleaned twice in seven days towels were changed twice in seven days no clean bed sheets during our stay the Wi-Fi was awful did not reach the bedrooms the staff were very professional we ate out every night so cost another 800 euros so makes it quite expensive we will not be staying here again

Terrible...... Stayed here in March 2024. Going by some of the reviews I thought it couldn't be that bad? Was i wrong. To say this place needs an upgrade is an understatement. Made a mistake off going half board. The food is awful and cold and very little choice. Salad and chips twice in a week is all I could manage. Ate out the rest of the week. Breakfast is so poor. Cold fried eggs and cold boiled eggs and bread is all you have to choose from. Cleaners were in twice in the week and just changed the towels and that was it. The apartment itself is 40 years past an update. I asked for a different room on arrival and was told by reception that they were fully booked which is just not true. I honestly seen about 30 people around the place the whole week I was there. I will not be back to this place and I honestly can't think of anything positive to say about Costa Mar......

Best holiday I had apartment excellent room cleaned 5 times a week staff brilliant and helpful will be coming back for second visit lots of shops restaurant and bar with walking distance short walk to Puerto de Carmen bach a few minutes walk had a sea view apartment brilliant

Not long back from another great stay at the Costa Mar. Staff always very friendly and nothing is to much trouble. Enjoyed it so muchee have already booked to go back in May. Apartments spotlessly clean and very spacious. Would recommend you visit.

Once again a great holiday, The staff are so helpful and really put themselves out to make your stay comfortable, nothing is too much trouble for them. The location is perfect just across from the beach. You can always find something on the menu that you like.

Just back today from these lovely apartments and really enjoyed my stay there. Very large spacious apartments and large terrace too. I found my bed comfortable and the maids were there 5 days out of 7 and kept the place spotless and towels changed bed linen changed wifi ( which you pay for separately) was good and the receptionist man ( sorry didn’t know his name ) was extremely helpful professional and welcoming. I can not fault these apartments in anyway and I was self catering so did not go to the on-site restaurant. Everything is within a few minutes walk shops restaurants beach etc and the actual aparthotel is set within lovely grounds. Didn’t use the pool but it looked lovely and the los picollos area was very very nice to stay in. Personally I would recommend these apartments especially since they are so large also the shower was very powerful and hot water was great. Definitely going back.

Had our second visit to Costa Mar a week ago, this time on half board which is really good value. We had previously stayed self catering but this made our break so much more relaxed. Breakfast’s and dinner were more than fine, although we did eat out a few evenings just to have a change. Smashing Spanish restaurant just down the road at the end of the Spar shops complex. Room and maid service all good, subbed available on the balcony. Easy little walk to the beach, got in the sea most days, except for when Pocillos beach was flooded over from high tides, first time we’d ever seen that. Such good value we’re already booked again for November to set us up for the winter at home, and hopefully should be back again for another week in January
