아파르타멘토스 아쿠아리오 솔(Apartamentos Acuario Sol)

This place is in 2 locations, a block apart. The main reception part has a few apar**ents around the kidney shaped pool shown in the picture, the other part is up the hill from here and is a much larger area with the much larger rectangular pool with a separate children’s section which was un-heated but still usable in January. The pool bar and restaurant are in this location, and as a consequence many of the guests from the other part come here to enjoy this pool which is bathed in sunshine all day long with plenty of sun beds which are sanitised as soon as they are vacated. The well appointed apar**ents (kettle,toaster,coffee maker, fridge/freezer and hot plate for those who cook and a television should you get bored! ) are all facing the pool, with the majority of them with a south facing balcony or terrace (ground floor) and the ground floor ones had their own sun beds! The beds and lounge furniture were comfortable with towels being replaced every other day. ( However the bedding was not changed during our 8 night stay.) Try to get the top floor apar**ents if you want the maximum of sunshine on your balcony and a sea view to boot! The main seafront is a 5 minute downhill stroll, which is not too steep, where there are several bars and restaurants as well as the shops and a ******. Local buses ( and, of course, Taxis) operate along here to take you toward the old town/harbour or further afield. The bus goes all the way to Costa Teguise via the capital, Arrecife, but I’m afraid I cannot tell you which number it is. However we used this for a return trip last year from Costa Teguise to PDC on a day out for a couple of Euros.

Thank you, Reuben & Tina. Despite comments decrying the apar**ent complex, Those two, and their family, plus the cleaners, including the young lady that keeps the site looking good AND vigorously cleans/disinfects every sunbed after use, deserve praise for their hard work. To those that expect the complex to be full of screaming football/AC/DC fans, boozing 'til 0200 hrs ....forget it. This place is for those people that have probably been there, done that in their youth. They now want a quieter holiday. The noisy pubs and clubs are 500 yards away, if required. The average age of the clients was probably 55-60, so there is a clue to 'scene' there. It is like the old days, visitors sit and chat to each other. The apar**ents are well kitted out. You can make a meal yourselves, or go to the cafe/bar on site and they have a good range of excellent meals. I recommend their Sunday roast and their bar b q night. They do have a playground for children, (tucked out of the way) and they have their own little pool. However, there are rules regarding opening times etc. Not everyone likes screaming kids running amok, all hours of the day/night. Would we go back? Definitely. Our next hol is Sunny Beach in Bulgaria in June. We know what to expect there, a bit like Blackpool on steroids. Which is why we like 'Sol so much, a complete rest for the mind and body.

So many rules, can’t move your sun loungers, children not allowed an inflatable ring in the pool, no t shirts allowed to be worn in the pools, children’s small toys allowed but only in the tiny pool! This rule list is endless. Absolutely no a**osphere around the pool, no music playing, a real shame. I’ve seen more life in a cemetery! The hotel clearly don’t want children staying so would be better to just state adult only! Positives….Apar**ents are very clean and well equipped,in fact the whole complex is well kept and clean. Sun loungers are sanitised as soon as you leave them. Staff were friendly. Think this hotel is more suited for older people/couples definitely not families.

Awful stay from the start. Pedro at the front desk kept us waiting at reception for around an hour refusing to check us in as the booking was made in my son’s name. Lucky for us, after 4 phone calls back to Ireland, m my son informed us that he had emailed the hotel weeks in advance to inform them who the booking was for. Only for this we would not have been able to check in. He was not one bit nice about the whole situation. Not ideal after travelling for 8 hours and I have never come across this policy anywhere in the world. Also, the complex is split into two building which are a few minutes walk from each other. This is far from ideal, especially since they do not have phones in the apar**ents. Finally, they barely give us any toilet paper and when we asked for more at reception he give us one roll at a time.

every where was spotless pool bar excellent with great friendly service. rooms cleaned regularly. reception very helpful. Rooms are a little small. floors under the beds had not been cleaned for a while. The shower head needs fixing as it kept falling off the wall, a bath mat would be very helpful as the bath tends to be slippy, please fit a handrail for safety. A great place for a relaxing holiday We will be back

Very clean and well maintained. Location good. we had ground floor apar**ent with pleasant outlook of the pool. The pool area can be quite windy so that might not suit anyone who wants a guaranteed place to lie on loungers. As we are very active, not a problem for us. The pool attendants were friendly and the maid service excellent.

Spent 2 weeks here and could find little to complain about. Excellent location. Very quiet and peaceful. Spacious apar**ent very well equipped with very comfortable bed. Pool area is extremely spacious and no problem getting a sunbed. The young lady lifeguard is extremely hard working and keeps the place spotless. Only slight complaint is that there is no air con. Not really a problem in Feb but would hate to be there in high season. Air con is no longer a luxury it is a necessity. Also shower facility available at block 2 for last day but no towels! Surely not a lot to ask that they be made available. Would recommend and return.

Absolutely outstanding from start to finish.Spotlessly clean room, helpful, friendly staff. Excellent location close to airport and town centre. The rooms are very well equipped. Excellent swimming pool and facilities. Would definitely return and would highly recommend.

It took us 8 years to return to Lanzarote but these apar**ents were amazing apt block 2 pool view or partial ground floor recommend.. I was tempted to be selfish and not write a review as I want to return asap.This is truth the whole truth. Myself n hubbie spent 2 weeks here 17 jan to 31 2024 we were given two single beds. They tied beds together put quality topper on bed new linen …..beautiful.
