We have never stayed at the Nautilus Apartments before having previously spent most of our holidays in Lanzarote in the Old Port Area. The Apartments have been developed to accommodate a wide range of visitors, they have a good number of properties aimed at people with disabilities. All the people we came into contact with were most welcoming. The site was cleaned daily and the pool maintained a good temperature. The only problem from our point of view is the fact that there are no refreshments on site. However, there are plenty of bars and restaurants within short walking distance. They do provide a breakfast but we did not avail ourselves of it. We booked a One Bedroom Room Apartment but it would appear because of the large numbers resident we were move into a Two Bedroom Apartment. We found this a pleasant surprise and more to the point it was excellent with Two bathrooms as well. Our experience was very good and we would not hesitate to recommend the Nautilus Apartments. Just one point, Matagorda is located adjacent the reasonably busy Lanzarote Airport which does bring with it noise mainly at times of Taking Off. This did not bother us or any of those people we came into contact with, just be aware!

Perfect holiday, loved the resort, accommodation, lovely & clean, helpful staff, great location. Level ground, easy walking to local bars & restaurants, short distance from airport. Only 5 euros cab ride into puerto de carmen.

Recent first time visit to The Nautilus although we’ve been to Matagorda numerous times. The complex is clean, well maintained and quiet and superbly located near the centre for a great selection of bars and restaurants. Our bungalow was located to the rear of the complex but withy lovely views out to sea. The pool area is clean and there was always no problem of getting a sun bed. The Staff were friendly and we would definitely come back again. One of the best sites in Matagorda.
