Apartamentos Ambassador

We chose this hotel after reading the excellent reviews on Tripadvisor and our stay lived up to the reviews. Our apar**ent was exceptionally clean and was cleaned every day. We were in room 117, so we had a ground floor apar**ent with views over the well kept gardens. There was a sun lounger, three chairs and a table plus an airer outside. Inside we had a TV in the lounge and in the bedroom, some German channels but also a couple of English. I took my iPad so we could watch Netflix using the hotel Wi-Fi. There was lots of storage space in the spacious bedroom (cupboards, drawers, hanging space). The bathroom was also large, with a walk in shower. The kitchen seemed ok, we only made a couple of simple meals but there was a good sized fridge and enough cutlery/crockery. The pool was a good size and the sauna was an added treat! There were plenty of sun loungers on the sun terrace with a view down to the sea and on a clear day you could see Teide. It's a 15-20 minute walk down to the town and a steepish walk back up but it's easier if you use the Agatha Christie steps. Lots of supermarkets around (two within a 5 minute walk from the hotel) and plenty of restaurants and bars close to the hotel (5 minute walk) as well as all the way into town. Being a little way out means it's quiet there but everything is within easy reach. We walked in and out of the town but I understand the taxis are cheap. We caught the bus to La Oratova and you could also catch a bus to Santa Cruz. The buses are cheap and clean. The staff are very friendly and approachable. If we return to Tenerife we will definitely return to this hotel.

We recently visited these apar**ents for a second time as we really enjoyed it here the first time we stayed. The gardens are beautiful and the apar**ents are in a lovely area. When we visited the first time we had a fantastic relaxed peaceful holiday but unfortunately this time there were more families with children. We were in an apar**ent between two families and for several days of the holiday it was very noisy including at 01:30hrs in the morning!! Whilst we appreciate the apar**ents are not adult only, it’s a shame such a lovely peaceful place can suddenly change! I think we will have to stick to adults only places in the future which is a shame as we love these apar**ents and thought we had found a great little place to return regularly. For anyone who does want to visit, the staff are friendly and helpful, the apar**ents are well equipped and close to amenities.

Probably the best apar**ents we have ever stayed in,the surrounding garden areas are beautiful and you even have a tropical pond with turtles.The pool area is on the small size but never busy and loads of sun beds on the two roof terraces if needed.The staff to a person were all friendly and added to the general well-being.Highly recommended

The Ambassador apar**ents were a perfect base for our short break. Set back on the hill behind Puerto del la Cruz in a quiet location. The apar**ent was clean and had everything we needed. The staff were polite and friendly and happy to help. We used the pool a couple of times but found it a bit cold so didn’t stay in long! The gardens around the apar**ents were beautifully kept. We had a view down the the sea and on the roof terrace to see Mount Teide. I would be more than happy to stay here again.

Such a lovely place quiet clean helpful staff will go again residential area kiosk at end of road cheap beer and bocadillios close to supermarket plenty of sun loungers but not around pool wi fi no noise no music played around pool steep walk on return from town

We chose to stay here for a week of nice weather and having read the reviews decided it would fit the bill. The apar**ents are in a lovely quiet residential neighbourhood not too far from restaurants, shops etc. We arrived very late due to delays with passport control, however we received a very warm welcome by the chap on reception. The apar**ent was very clean, and had everything you need for a week or so. The cleaners do a very thorough job and were always happy and chatty. The pool and sauna area was extremely clean and never busy and the two rooftop terraces were quiet with plenty of sun beds. The only slight issue was the noise from the guests above. We requested a higher room, unfortunately on this occasion we were not allocated one and were woken every morning at 6:30 by scraping of furniture and what sounded like a baby elephant lumping about. We understand that the hotel has little control over the time that guests arise, but perhaps consideration of using the felt patches which you can get to stick to the feet of furniture might reduce the noise for the comfort of other guests. Aside from this issue, we had a lovely stay and would recommend.

We booked Agora Chalet, as the apar**ents were fully booked. It is one of the best villas we’ve ever stayed in. Perfectly arranged inside and out, large garden, detached, great car cover (for a small/medium car), spotlessly clean and fantastic decor. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of seating, tables, cushions outside and equipment for the beach is a nice touch. The area feels quiet and safe. Pop over the road for a swim and a sauna - quite a bonus. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Would totally recommend.

We had the best time! Perfectly located away from too much noise and touristy places but close enough for a lovely walk to the centre of Puerto de La Cruz! Walked back a couple of times but a bit of a hike if you’re not active but an easy 6-7 euro taxi ride back up the hill if needed! Gorgeous serviced apar**ent with patio and small but functioning kitchen. Good restaurants close buy and a couple of great supermarkets for when we cooked! Grounds were stunning and the pool was secluded and perfect! Nothing to dislike and everything to love! Staff were all fabulous too! And they spoilt me for my birthday 🤗

Lovely apar**ent complex in a quiet but accessible part of the town. Well appointed lounge/kitchen - comfortable bedroom. Attractive gardens with lots of trees and ornamental shrubs - all immaculately kept. A small pool which was more than adequate and never busy. Friendly and helpful reception and housekeeping staff.
