호텔 루랄 비데안(Hotel Rural Bidean)

Very nice property. Old European style with small clean rooms. what we loved was just going downstairs to eat and drink. Thr tomato salad was outstanding. The meat was brought out from their in house aging refrigerator. The lamb chops were great. Biggest plus was the staff. Very nice and helpful. I would go back because the overall experience and ambiance was wonderful

Bidean is well located and well priced. The staff is pretty lackluster and unmotivated. We found our room lacked bath towels and this took 30 mins to resolve. The room itself was fine with a well appreciated and quiet ceiling fan. The problem is that they had extra furniture in the room that made it feel more cramped.

The morning lady is fantastic, very nice, and efficient while the evening staff sits there drinking beer. The room is nice even though smaller than what I reserved. i reserved a double room and got a twin but for one night it’s okay. GO ELSEWHERE YO EAT DINNER BECAUSE THE EVENING STAFF IS BUSY DRINKING BEER AND IT TAKES HOURS TO ORDER DRINKS! If I owned the hostal they’d be fired!

After reading other reviews on this site, I was a little concerned about our stay and the Hotel Rural Bidean. Our concerns were unfounded. While the place is definitely old and a little dark, it was clean and very comfortable. I was happy to find that the elevator was modern and in perfect working order. My legs were dead after walking the Camino and the elevator helped (I know that sounds lame, but you'll understand if you walked the same distance we did that day!). The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom wasn't the greatest, but it was clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Bidean is very well located. It is on the main street and close to Puente la Reina. It keeps Camino pilgrim right on the Camino Frances route. There restaurants and a little store near the Hotel. The restaurant was really busy with customers ordering beer and wine. The restaurant also offered some food items. The room was small but it was clean. It had a fan but no air conditioning which made sleeping uncomfortable because it was a warm night. The wifi was better than other places I have stayed during this Camino de Santiago.

The lady at the front desk started to check me in but was more concerned with a bar patron who had short changed her by a Euro! Check-in took 10 minutes or more with many starts and stops, much yelling between waiters, bartender, front desk, bar patrons, etc. It was entertaining to watch but after walking 25 km I just wanted a shower and have a nap! The bed was low and hard and the desk placed immediately inside the door in a narrow hall meant that anyone larger than a five year old would have to turn sideways to get past it and still find it very awkward. While the room was small, it was all I needed. Just ditch the desk and chair!

Perfect lication heart of old town right on the camino path

Good stay in convenient section of the city. Room was dated. Ceiling fan was a very nice amenity.
